I agree.

The Guru had a good save yesterday on the WBB selection show when the host referred to UW Oshkosh as the Warhawks. Without calling attention to the error he made a point that UWO are the Titans in his comments on the bracket.

On another clean-up in aisle 5, the host kept referring to the conference as the Wee-Ack. Pat when he spoke called it the W-I-A-C and also the Why-Ack.

A lot of schools and conferences for a host to spit out there in a rapid fire show like that.

I've actually called the WIAC the Wee-ack instead of the Why-ack in the past as well. Maybe my high school Spanish got the better of me.

Did they pronounce Menomonie correctly? At least our schools aren't in Ashwaubenon, Weyauwega and Oconomowoc.

Thanks! That was the goal. This stuff happens and if you're not intimately familiar with Division III, D-III is really difficult.

Will video streaming be free or are they requiring ESPN+ like football?

Hard to get a feel for Grinnell they have no common opponents with Platteville. Only 2 teams in the Midwest Conference played WIAC teams. Ripon lost to Whitewater and Oshkosh and Cornell beat Whitewater. Grinnell split their 2 games with Ripon and beat Cornell twice. Looking at their box scores it looks like they score a lot points but also gives up a lot of points.

This article is a bit dated, but it gives some numbers to go along with where certain Wisconsin high school players are continuing to play next season at the D3 level...

Good luck to La Crosse and Platteville tonight. I'm not sure if it's a requirement for the host team to play 2nd, but considering the opponents, I may have switched the games to give you an extra few hours of rest before tomorrow's games, if you advance.

I've always said Wee-Ack, just because we had a player 25 years ago that I referred to as "The Shaq of the WIAC".
