Mr. Ypsi

Yep, I will now cheer for CMU.

Despite initially cursing the sign-makers in Pittsburgh, once I figured out my way around, we LOVED the town.  My older son is a huge fan of the Penguins; if it came down to it, I THINK he is still a Red Wings fan, but I'm not sure!  (Despite Crosby, it looks like we won't have to worry about that Stanley Cup confrontation for a while. ;))

And, despite my earlier wishes, I have little doubt that CMU will handle NYU.

That is unless NYU makes a strong strategic move and hires the Bluffton referees for the game!

Mr. Ypsi

Not having seen the game, I ain't touching that line with a ten-foot pole! ;)

hugenerd

Well played, I was just kidding.  I just hope they use this as motivation going into conference play.  A loss is good for you every once and a while to keep you on your toes.

I didn't catch the meaning of the previous several posts until I checked over the scoreboard.....   Bluffton beats CMU, reducing our undefeated list to 10.   On the other hand, in our winless group, Caltech upholds their spot with a 38 point loss,  while Swarthmore almost is eliminated, losing by 3.
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Greenville still winless vs. D-3 after Wabash bests them 82-57.

Maine-Presque Isle barely manages to stay on the winless against d3 list, coming within 58 of Christopher Newport. ;)

Oxy downs Amherst - and then there were THREE!

Mr. Ypsi

Hope and IWU will certainly be tested for their undefeated credentials - is WPI this year's St. John Fisher?

Ryan Scott (Hoops Fan)

WPI's schedule is quite a bit better than Fisher's was, however, they very well could be this year's version of last year's WPI team.

lots of perfect record activity last night - I'll summarize

3 teams came off lists  :
as mentioned before  Amherst loses to Oxy, falling off the undefeated list  -  Oxy stays unbeaten vs D3

The BANANA SLUGS of Santa Cruz drop off the winless vs D3 list, nipping Colorado College

Redlands runs off the winless vs D3 list, nipping Wheaton.

Last Night, many of our winless and winless vs D3 did us proud, with Oberlin, Maine Presque Isle, Greenville, Marantha, Webster, John Jay, Northland and Ferrum all getting thumped.

Current head count
Undefeated   9
undefeated against D3 only  5
winless  12
winless vs D3 only  10

The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

I think you meant un-undefeated, but we understand your angst April.

Well, they were quasi-non-undefeated since they also beat three non-D3 schools.

But still, I feel your pain...
