Looks like TDT is having a great time in Miami:

A tradition unrivaled...

fins - What are Frank and I supposed to call ourselves at the Stiftungtingfest, being Gusties who hate the Johnnies but can't pass up the free food? Oh, the comradery and chance to rip on TDT in person aren't bad either :)
Uh, freeloaders, Johnnie envy, Johnnie wannabes, take your pick.  ;D
I prefer, at least for myself, distinguished guest who provides witty banter and a rapist's wit.  As for Willy, when he actually drags his lazy self to a game, freeloader seems an appropriate moniker.

OK, oh most distinguished of guests and purveyor of banter and wit.
What's up tonight? Working a beer tub anywhere?

For the whole story go to
The Year of the Rat

and scroll to page 18.
That brought back memories. Remember the time 2 Bennies actually sat in the rat section? The gym was absolutely packed and I knew one of the girls from St. Cloud. They squeezed in on the end of the section which was the last conceivable place in the joint where anyone could sit. THe entire Rat section jumped down from the bleachers, leaving the section completely empty except for the 2 girls. Then they stood facing them and started chanting, "WE WANT SEATS! WE WANT SEATS!
Hilarious.

fins-  We're going to The Bank in Sartell for a couple at 4pm...other than that, I have nothing planned.  Give me a call if you're going to be out and about tonight.  I'd call you, but apparently washing machines destroy cell phones and I don't have your number anymore.

fins - From what I've heard about Bennies, those two brave girls probably accounted for six actual seats. I'd be pissed if I was a Rat trying to deal with that too.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Is the bank what used to be V-Bar II?

That's the place. Did your fake used to work in there, Duff?

Still probably an improvement over a Gustie heifer.  :D

Can't say I ever even had the desire to visit that place.  I've heard stories, though.  I'm sure it's proximity to the trailer park makes for some interesting events.

Those trailer park dudes are in there at like 9am bellying up to the bar.  I can't imagine the withdrawl they went through when the bank was closed down for 6 weeks because of a fire.

Hmm, maybe Fins can comfirm, but didn't the original V-Bar burn down?  Sounds kind of fishy to me.

The Riverboat is more my type of place.  The Blue Line isn't bad, either.

Trivia Question - What other bar has the owner of the Blue Line owned?

I believe you're right Duff, the V Bar did burn. Must be a bad location for lightning or something.  :o
Who is the owner of the Blue Line?

DuffMan

Fins, I'm pretty sure that the original V-Bar that burned was in Sauk Rapids (or at least on the East side of the river).  The V-Bar II was a second location that is now, apparently, The Bank.

The name of the owner of The Blue Line is Deron Liebrenz.

Frank--is the Bank your new hang out now?  Please dont tell me you're a regular. Thats when you know you have a problem.

Coyote Ugly in the New York New York casino in Vegas is a great time.  Beer, hot girls dancing, and motley crue music.  Doesnt get much better.  Maybe if there was a football game on a tv somewhere in there.
I'd post a lot more if I had a real job

Right again Duffman, it was across the river, though I believe it was Sartell.
I give up on your trivia question.
