Homework Assignment for LLPP

Your residence (house, apt, cardboard box) and vehicle need a name... they just aren't the same w/o one. All LLPP and extended members must submit these names or one will be provided for you at a minimal charge.

For example, Gro's:
House: Thug Mansion II
Car: Blue (yeah it's blue).

Gro,
You know the residence of Regulator well...do you think you could come up with something crafty.

I guess I want to be the one to name the whip....I know where you will head with that one.

U89- Reg loves RWD!!!....in fact one reason that Reg regrets going to college is that he was forced to sell his '68 mustang (302 Sb, aluminum heads, single plane intake, hookers headers, no Cat, 650 holley double pumper, 4 on the floor, "poor mans" Posi" among other things that took down my budget and ladies underpants

Knightstalker can understand Regs feelings on car.  Knightstalker had a 69 Torino Talledaga back when he was in the navy.  Stalkers Torino and 69 sportster (actually a 67, 68, 69 etc sportster) were both stolen while parked in a "secure" lot on the Naval base in Norfolk VA.  The torino was rusting out, but the 428 was in mint condition.  The bike was built for my by a shipmate who just rebuilt harleys for fun and then sold them to his shipmates and friends.  Pissed the Knightstalker off.

Thanks reg for the opportunity to name your home... having been to your house and eaten there, slept there, thrown up there, dropped a deuce... well you get the point. I know that place well enough.

So, where to begin?

1. "Reg's House" so you could start a chant on karioke night "who's house... REG'S HOUSE!"

2. "The Skankuary" hmmm, maybe 6-7 years ago, but that was called colvin circle.

3. "Pop Tart Palace" named after your favorite breakfast snack.

4. "Bay Area Ballertorium" since you're right by the water.

5. "The Love Shack" wait, you're married... scratch that one.

any of these work?

1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee needs just a little tender loving care, usually a nice tender stick of dynamite works wonders for old jeeps.

Brother Gro has a 1995 Grand Cherokee passed down from the parents... hence the name MOTHERSHIP

Gro's seen and heard nothing but bad news from Cherokee's

I am pretty sure JT and Knightstalker see the same crazy drivers every day.  In Jersey City the Indian women walk down the street pushing a stroller because the men are driving and parking on the sidewalks.

JT knows there's a difference between a crazy driver with skills and just plain crazy.  In JT's neighborhood they run red lights five seconds past. Stop signs on cross streets are optional.

JT constantly reminds friends and relatives that cars don't stop at the cross streets on his block.  They think JT's kidding.  Most wind up experiencing the ride.

Once JT slowed down at a cross street in which he had the right of way.  Some guy honked... blew past JT and got nailed by a lady running a stop sign.

JT usually slows down at the cross streets in his neighborhood.

That is an impressive rant... all you need now is a mullet.

Knightstalker

JT, Knightstalker sees those all the time too.  This week KS was pulling out to go around a bus when some a-hole comes flying up the oncoming traffic lane leaning on his horn to get around KS and the bus.  KS had to pull over until he stopped laughing as the A-Hole was promptly pulled over by the police officer that was sitting in a marked SUV two cars behind KS when A-Hole passed him.

Regulator

Gro-

Being an engineer Reg always thought you would be interested in stuff like that...I was fooled.  You weren't the cool type of engineer that likes to watch junkyard wars, mythbusters and extreme engineering.  You were the herb engineer that would rather pick up a TI-85 and program the next weeks DVR reminders of "Dancing with the Stars"

Even with the mullet said car would be worth between 15,000 to 50,000 K depending on condition.

Dood kicked the gf to the curb, told the blonde to go home and picked the HAC.  She then dumped him because he kissed her dog.

Classic TV.

The HAC was also "saving herself for marriage."  Thus failing one of JT's major tests. Non-compatibility in boudoir is not something to discover on the wedding night.

KS thought that would have been enough to end the date right there, dood should have kept skank with blue crap on eyes.

+K to all on the last two pages.

Gro might be the most "unmechanical" engineer you'll ever meet... thermodynamics I was when Gro realized he needed to switch to the imaginary engineers (for those not in the know, that's industrial engineers). There was no way in hell Gro was going to take thermo II.

IE was great, 2 years of core engineering courses and the rest is statistics and management. cake walk.

Gro does watch extreme engineering (and modern marvels) but hates the mythbuster guys... they are annoying... SHAVE!!

KS- You were close had the car been original.  (for those that have no clue what a car even is: GRO, that means the engine, transmission and rear end are the same ones that rolled out of the factory in that exact car)
I think I had about $6K into the car and ended up selling it in 1998 for $4k.

When I buy my next house with a garage, I plan on buying something that burns an extraordinary amount of gas, even at idle, but THIS time, I will let someone else pump more man hours than god, more new parts than the car is worth and then snag it from them at 1/2 of what they have into it.

Ever watch Barrett Jackson's auctions?.....These classics roll through there where they have all the receipts and restoration items and the car usually ends up selling for 1/3 of what they have into it.

It's a SHAME

Reg, Knightstalker just saw a 70 GTO Ram Air IV Judge listed for 119,000K.

KS wants to do something similar when he has a house with a big enough garage or yard big enough for a large shed.  KS would love to have a late 60's early 70's anything that sucks large amounts of high octane.  KS also likes to work on motorcycles and would like to find an old army or police harley that is in parts and rebuild it.  Especially the army bike with a sidecar.
