TDT--I'll work on a pic with the sweet 'stache.  Theres always a constant battle with my scanner whether it will work or not.

No judge or jury will ever convict the power behind Knight Rider

Remind me to live in Carver, not Chaska when I get back to MN

TT, will there be a good location in Miami for my son to celebrate St. Patrick's Day next Friday? Keep in mind that his middle name is Eoin.
What's the matter, run out of consonants? I'm glad that's not my first name. Would that be probable cause if the officer asked you your name and you said "Eoin"? He'd definitely think you were slurring your speech.

Ok Godfather if Junior wants an experience akin to Madison's State Street he should venture NO further than Coral Gables (home of the Univ of Miami Hurricanes).

John Martin's, Coral Gables: Party into the streets at John Martin's. The bar opens at 11:30 a.m., and beginning at 4 p.m., they'll block off nearby Salzedo Street off of Miracle Mile in Coral Gables to continue things outside. Celtic bands The Volunteers and Kick Da Kat will provide music until 2 a.m.

FYI: TDT has heard that Kick Da Kat is pretty sweet similar to Hairball in Carver County... :o

For a more traditional Irish evening this spot on South Beach is sure to be rockin:

Irish House, Miami Beach: Located on Alton Road in Miami Beach, Irish House is one of the few Irish bars amidst a sea of Latin-themed restaurants and trendy bars. This St. Patrick's Day, Irish House will be home to traditional corned beef and cabbage and Irish potatoes. Eat your fill and listen to live Irish music from 11 a.m.-5 a.m.

Note the closing time JR.  Expect a drunken phone call about 5:01am EST...

I would be up for an impromptu Stiftungsfestivities.  Can we get a count on who will be in attendance on Sunday night?  It is either that or a big steak at The Capital Grille beforehand.  Touchdown T will be decked out in his 1984 throwback Kirby Puckett jersey.  Indeed it will be an emotional night.

I think a preceremony stiftungfestivities or bartime would be an excellent idea...that is if TDT comes through

My attendance at the worship session of Kirby is based purely on TDT. He knows of which I speak.

hey Frank, I think we can accomodate you.  Plan on Ike's around 4pm (5th and Marquette I believe).  Classy joint with tremendous food.  Can take the lightrail to the front door of the Dome if we get too inebriated or better yet make Wonka drive!

I'll be there in spirit guys.  I think I now have to buy a 40, pour a little out for Kirby, and walk the Strip a little tipsy rattling out some Puckett stats at the tourists walking by.

A sweet beer commerical can be found by going to Collegehumor.com  and search "Arrowhead beer"

This post is coming to you from the Holiday Inn Express in St. Cloud, site of TDT and Guy Bellair's frequent room rentals. I've been asked not to go into detail, though I did find the following etched into the headboard of the bed in my room

TDT (heart) Guy

Now, I could be jumping to conclusions to be assuming this refers to the birthday boy, but maybe he just means guys in general? This could be one of those Zen koans (yes, I was a philosophy minor in college, don't ask me why) that no one ever knows the answer to...like the sound of one hand clapping or something.

In a related note, I asked for the "finsleft discount" and the old guy working the counter just looked at me really funny. I thought you were like the Johnnie mafia and had people everywhere? Disappointing...unless he noted my room number and I get whacked later tonight. I'll be pissed if that happens...unless it's by a hot lady. Mongo knows what I'm talking about.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Ooooooo!! The last Guy/guy to use this computer signed into MSN under the following username:

You can't make stuff like this up. TDT has made a few people upset by his move to Florida it looks like.

finsleft, so you like the name Eoin? How about Maura Caitlin? That's my "little girl's" first and middle name. Living in a county that is predominately German (remember, this is where the Stiftungsfest got started), I felt I had to promote my Irish heritage as much as possible (even though I am only 1/4 Irish; the rest is German). My Irish ancestors settled by Green Isle, MN in the last half of the 1800's.

Speaking of Ireland, remember to head to Belle Plaine next Saturday when they celebrate St. Patrick's Day. The bars will be packed Saturday night in one of the best party towns in Minnesota. Good follow-up to spending THE St. Patrick's Day in St. Paul on Friday.

TT, thanks for the tips on the Irish hot spots in Miami and Coral Cables for my son. I actually attended the University of Miami in the fall of 1978. I was going to get my Masters of Law in estate planning at the University of Miami School of Law. It was a nine month long program. The first six weeks were all tax courses. Can you say "bore me some more?!!" That October I found out I had passed the Minnesota bar exam. I asked the dean if I could take a leave of absence and return in the future. He said that would not be a problem. Needless to say, I have not yet returned. When you compare Chaska to Coral Gables, you can understand why I wanted to come back here so much.  :o If my memory serves me correctly, I do believe the Village People were one hot band back then and were from Coral Gables.

WW, have you met the famed "birthday boy," or are you just going off of our descriptions?

The mystery of why TDT moved to Florida has been solved!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.
