I see kubiak78 is a -22 karma after I bumped him up.

Let's go MIACPP, we have a guy taking care of us, let's do a small thing for him and raise his karma.

They were the ones that lowered his karma in the first place. :)

BDB

Like I say, Pat, I don't know all the history.

If he is a serviceman, he deserves our thanks.

As a contractor from our area, he needs our best wishes.

Come up with the best caption for what Nick Punto is thinking in this photo:

Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

BDB

Get your hand off my ass and I told you I could play centerfield!  :D

Coach fins,

BDB has to lead his baseball squad tomorrow night in like 98 degree heat.

Any suggestions?  ???

We used to skip BP on nights like that.

Of course, one night we skipped BP we ended up winning 1-0. And the run was on an infield single, steal of second, to third on a grounder and home on a suicide squeeze. :)

Things I learned this weekend:

1. Notre Dame and St. Mary's have amazingly beautiful campuses and the buildings we were in were ridiculously amazing.
2.  Mojito's taste great and you don't even realize you're drinking booze until it's too late.
3.  A table of 9 people aged 18-26 (5 of which were siblings) can finish off 6 bottles of wine in the amount of time a table of 10 "adults" can finish off their first 2.
4.  Free beer, wine, and mojitos all night is probably about an hour too long.
5.  The Bartender at Linebacker's bar by Notre Dame campus doesn't care if you're catholic and a lifelong ND fan, you still have to pay for beer.
6.  The large black man checking ID's at the entrance to Linebacker's is NOT a linebacker for ND, in fact he never went to college, but his name is Shaun and he can throw a 150lb kid trying to get in with a blatant fake ID 8 feet in the air.
7.  Drinking until 3 AM when you have to drive 7 hours back to Iowa the next day is not a good idea.
8.  8AM is not a great time to wake up when you just stopped drinking 5 hours before.
9.  You can drink a 32 oz gatorade before breakfast, a 20 oz water with breakfast, another 20 oz water after breakfast after a good night of drinking and still not need to pee for 4 hours.
10.  Driving from anywhere, especially a lake in MN or Notre Dame, back to Iowa is very depressing.  :'(

As long as you stay in that part of the Bend, it's pretty nice.  Glad you had a good time.  Hope you told them Gags was coming in another 4 weeks for his cap.   Go Johnnies, Go Irish.

kubiak78, I don't know you and you don't know me.

But I will say thank you for your service.

You are a braver soul than I.

I hate that people like you have to be over there away from home.

But I do think of you and all our troops and appreciate it.

Be safe, come home. Watch a little football. Thank you.

KR is right I am a security contractor in Kuwait (former military) at least for the next week or so.  If things go right I will be heading to Texas for a week  and then right back over here and go to Iraq with a new company.   The reason for the low karma is because I am a WIAC guy (former warhawk to be specific).  That loss the Johnnies took didn't go over very well.   The only football I'll get for the next year is right here and on radio web casts.  So you guys are going to have to keep me informed. ;)

P.S. BDB....
Don't feel bad for me I chose to come over here the money is way too good to pass up plus I get to carry firearms again. ;D

I just went to the profile section and clicked on "show stats" in the upper left hand corner it shows you how much time you have spent on post patterns since you started your profile.  I have wasted a total of 5 days 17 hours and 24 min on post patterns.  God thats scary.  KR your total must be in the months instead of days ;D

Johnnie Red

I got to talk to Mike Max of WCCO radio last night at the Chaska baseball park. He was invited to play for the Chaska Cubs. The Cubs were playing Maxie's home town of Gaylord. That had to be special for him. Mike seemed very interested in the Stiftungsfestivities event of September 9 when we will be honoring the media celebs. He also said we should invite Sid.

As luck would have it, I heard a knock on my front door last night around 8:00 p.m. I went to the door and found two Mormon elders wanting to visit. Of course I invited them in. One was from Arizona, the other from Utah. The two year mission they put in has to be challenging. I told them I was a good Catholic boy and filled them in on St. John's and the College of St. Benedict along with Johnnie football. They probably weren't expecting that.

Hope to have many on this board present this coming Friday evening for MIAC night when the Chaska Cubs host the Rochester Royals. Game time is 7:30 p.m. Wear something with your college emblem on it and you will get into the game free. Stiftungsfest burgers will be served.

kubiak78, you're a Warhawk?

Forget what I said everybody, take him to TDT land!  :D

Just kidding.

Seriously though, you get a shot back in the states and you go to Texas?  ???

Wouldn't you like to see something green at some point?  ;)
