Duffman-

The new addition will NOT be ready for us this fall.  I have absolutely no idea what will be used as a pressbox/ "upstairs booth" for coaches of our and opposing teams.  Also, I HOPE that we will have bleachers by the time our first home game is played.  Oh, by the way, that game is against a certain team that reportedly has a decent fan base.  Maybe a B.Y.O.C. (chair) game?  That, or maybe live from Hubert H. Humphrey?  I'd hate that.  Maybe we'd play at the opponents field, but it would be OUR home game?  I would be excited to be at Clemens and only have 57 guys in uniform on the other side.  It would be a site for all to see!

Looking forward to BYOC game.  I may bring a couple extra chairs to rent.

If I hear one more Viking fan complain about not going for the game tieing field goal in a damn preseason game I am going to go crazy.

I'm going off to lunch so I'll leave you with this
If go to UST there is one thing you can't miss
As you through the arches and onto the grass
There are girls to hit on not a bunch of dude...can

FPM, I explained how the "cuts" worked earlier this morning:

Quote from: DuffMan on August 15, 2006, 08:15:23 AM
Tmerton, in regards to "cutting" players, this has been going on for a few years.  I believe that it started my freshman or sophomore year.  What occurs is that they asks some of the incoming sophomores not to return.  They do this simply so that everyone gets a locker.

I heard 190 in Collegeville yesterday.  They're not trying to weed people out, just have enough lockers for everyone.

A tradition unrivaled...

True there may be girls out sitting on your grass
But every one has a frequent flyer free clinic pass
They go in weekly when their ithcin' and swellin
To see the doc for their weekly penicillin
I'd rather have girls who outweigh Me
Than girls who'll make it burn when I pee.

Say all you want about the Bennies so wide
'Cause I go to bed with my skinny Bennie bride
I was just as confused but accepted with smiles
I guess that's what happens with a daily 4 miles
The concept seems foreign I can admit
But a Bennie who runs is hotter than poo.

I thought everyone got in at UST especially them! ;D
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

UST girls are not of ill repute
The fact that you couldn't score should make your point moot
But I'm a bachelor Tommie living a sweet bachelor life
While you're on this website praising your thin Bennie wife
I'll be out having fun and golfing with friends
While you'll reminisce about chasing skirt at St. Bens
The fun times are done Kilter Rat no more
Now you spend Saturdays at the Home Depot store
Picking out wall paper and paint to match
While I'm hanging out with brand new and exciting good looking...women

UST girls not of ill repute?
Even TDT could score with that coot.
I still go golfing and drinking whenever I please
And I don't have to worry about catching any disease
Also when I'm feeling frisky
I don't have to find a girl full of whisky
I just buy some roses for about 10 bucks
Instead you buy meals at a restaurant that sucks

You pay lots of money and still don't know
If at the end of the night you can seal the show.
I had fun chasing skirts, probably more than my share
TDT can testify to my adventures and Guy's back hair.
But now I can fart while out on a date
Without having to worry if I just lost a mate.

So keep spending your money on barflies and such
I prefer my life thank you very much
Married life isn't as bad as you think it to be
Just as long as you put the seat down after you pee. ;D

Chipotle does not suck it is very good indeed
And rather inexpensive for these women to feed
I too fart when I please and if they don't like it that's fine
It reminds me of getting Bennies drunk on cheap Boone's Farm wine
KR, I had great times in St. Joe's as well
Slightly below purgatory and just above hell
You could drink and carry on this much is true
But at least at UST women don't respond with "moo"
So when asked to go to Collegeville we'd respond with a resounding "hell yes!"
Because you can just lay down hay to cover up your mess
Indoor plumbing and electric heat, things you don't need
So I never worried about putting the seat down at CSB after I peed

You can always tell someone who's not from that area when they refer to St. Joe as St. Joe's.

Man, if we could just get Kevin Federline aka Mr. Britney Spears to post, we could have an assembly of the world's worst rappers.

Duff, give it up to these guys...anybody is a better rapper than kfed.

(like I would know  :D)

Anyway, check out where the Brit's right hand is.  :o

We're splitting hairs here Duffman.

I was thinking about this earlier today:

Am I a Tommy or a Tommie

Are individual Johnnies called a Johnny or a Johnnie. I think this should be established. Because many people use the plural "ie" to describe the singular. I do it to. Just throwing it out there.

Speaking of splitting hairs, is it "Tommies Suck" or is it "Tommies Suck like a 2 bit whore sucking a softball through a garden hose"?

Just checking.

DuffMan

Officially, I've always considered the singular form of Johnnies to be Johnnie.  I've never thought too much about Tommies, but I'd stick with Tommie.

St. Joe has always been St. Joe to me growing up the area.  Going to college, a lot of people called it St. Joe's and that has always sounded funny.

Here's another one that I have disagreements about.  How do you shorten the name of the city of Alexandria?  Is it Alec or Alex?  I've always known it as Alex, but I know people who insist on Alec.  What's the general concensus?

It's either St. Joe or Joe Town, but never St. Joe's, unless the town is in possesion of something.

I've always used Alex.
