I'm planning several visits to both Virginias. I like to stop at the Sawmill on the way upnort, just to get the dust outta my throat. This should happen on 4 or 5 occasions between September and December. Then I plan on topping it all off with a trip to the Stagg, to watch SJU win another National Championship.

Wouldn't it be just like Favre to screw his team and wait until just before the season starts to make an announcement for max media exposure.

Turned out to be a Brett Favre still thinks this is his best team ever news conference. Weird timing. Koren Robinson...100 MPH thru St. Peter is not a good idea. Even worse, taking good ol' St. Pete cops, Blue Earth County sheriffs, and North Mankato and Mankato cops on a 15-mile joyride.

Thank God the vikes got rid of Moss and all the legal problems he brought to the team and brought in an all-around class act receiver.

tmerton, always good to see those defense attorneys show up in court drunk. It has to make their clients feel that much more positive knowing their attorney fully understands what it feels like to be intoxicated at any time during the day.

A few years ago I had the privilege of prosecuting one of our local criminal defense attorneys for possession of child porn on his computer. He pled guilty and is no longer practicing at this time.

Then last year I prosecuted a woman who is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Kansas for the unauthorized practice of law in Minnesota. Needless to say, she represented herself at the jury trial and was convicted on all five misdemeanor counts. She did hire an attorney licensed in Minnesota for the appeal to the Minnesota Court of Appeals, which she also lost. She is now threatening to go to the Minnesota Supreme Court.
