I'd like to know if he was partying in the cities or at Willy's, The Flame or Patricks...I would probably guess he was partying at Ruttles

Well, thank God the vikes stopped hanging out with Hookers!

Driving 100+MPH through a town at night while drunk is much safer. :-\
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

All it took to get Frank out of his Favre-esque semi-retirement was a chance to bash the Vikings. Go figure.

However, he failed to mention Hamms in either of his last two posts. Is that on probation, just like something else? Someone's got a secret. And a certain someone may need to get picked up on the way to the tailgate on 9/2. And 9/9, and 9/16, and 9/23, and...well, you get the picture.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Robinson exactly what were you thinking about fleeing police?  What an idiot.  Just another top notch athlete making a stupid decision.  This makes 3 vikings players out for the year, counting greenway and williams.  I think the vikings are looking toward a sub .500 year.

On a different note, being here in Moorhead and hearing the buzz of the NDSU/Gopher game in a month.  What does everyone think of that game?  Do the Bison upset the Big 10 team or is it a blowout by the gophs?  Part of me says the gophs are D-I, but the bison have a powerful offense.  It should be interesting.  For the bison its a win win situation, no matter the outcome they get a lot of money to play the game.

Did Frank get in some trouble??? ::)

Since there seems to be some tread left on the Anna-O-Thon, here is a couple more pics of our favorite former tennis player.  :)

BDB, you know how to start the day off right!

UST has posted their preview.  Apparently, the Toms have 4 D-2 transfers and 70 new players (out of 137).  Interesting things at Summit and Cretin...

Being an NDSU alum, I think it's a great opportunity for the Bison.  I think the game itself will be a win for the Goophs, but I think it's going to be closer than the Goopher fans would like it to be.  Also, knowing how the Bison faithful travel and the size of their alumni base in and around the Twin Cities, It wouldn't suprise me to see somewhere between 5,000-10,000 Bison fans at the game.  If it weren't for the Johnnies playing that same day at about the same time, I'd be there myself.

From UST's preview:

QuoteThe most versatile newcomer might be Kevin Brown, who started at St. Paul Highland Park at both the center and QB spot in different seasons.

He played QB and center?  That's one helluva switch, but I guess you'd really know an offense that way.

Whoa Nelly

In a great show of irony...today is the final open practice for the public in Mankato and Vikings Fan Appreciation Day - selected position for the final autograph session...that's right - Wide Receivers.

Cord Glory

Is anyone else a little curious about the poll question on the front page about limited roster numbers?  I can't see that doing much besides taking away a great opportunity for a number of kids who may not be stars, but who would still benefit from the atmosphere of college football.  I would imagine the Johnnies might object to something like that.

And all of this Koren Robinson talk, coupled with the NDSU/Gopher talk reminds me of a few years back when Lamar Gordon got into a little trouble at MSU Moorhead - i believe it was after a night at "The Underground."  He decided that kicking in a few car windows would solve whatever problems he was having that night.
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.

Whoa Nelly

Very neat story.  I came upon this while seeing if Cord had a football preview out yet...

I honestly thing NDSU has a legitimate shot against Ball State and the game against the Gophers won't be as lopsided as anticipated.

UST started camp with 137 players, a record for the team. New D-coordinator, and alot of experience on offense, I think things are looking up for them.

:(  Coffee then beer.
Might I suggest skipping the coffee, going to the "Finsleft Koolaid" and then have some beers.  The koolaid usually burns any cobwebs out of the brain.
Any word on a new dean for SJU now that Laker is gone?  Is it Joe DesJardins (Interim Academic Dean and Associate Provost)?  What can you tell us, Mr. Finsleft?
Haven't heard who the new Laker is yet. I'll see if I can get the scoop.

At first I thought that the koolaid was just good. But I came to realize that whatever came out of that jug had mystical powers after Duff showed up one game near death. As he consumed his 3rd glass of the magic potion, an amazing transformation occurred before my very eyes as Duffman sprung back to life.
So, yeah, skip the coffee.

I can attest to that.  First game last year, Wooderson and I, for some reason, decided it would be a good idea to drink and post things until 4:30 am.  I was in rough shape the next morning, but Fin's kool-aid got me back on track in a hurry.
