Anyone know anything about this school?  Is it NAIA or D3?  Why did the HC leave?

Trinity Bible isn't affiliated with any national organizing body, as far as I know. It is definitely not NAIA or NCAA Division III.

Thanks for the help.  Their website is useless, but they have it listed that they have affiliations with the NCCAA and the UMAC.

Funny how the UMAC doesn't list them as a member.

The NCCAA ... is a motley collection of religious institutions and the overall level of play is not as high as D3 or NAIA.

Sounds like they are at the level of bad Junior College football.

The UMAC cut Trinity Bible loose after the 2007 season, when it wanted to get D-III status.

Trinity Bible isn't a junior college, it's just a really small four-year school with no football affiliation. And a really small football team.

Are they competitive at all in athletics?  I heard their head coach resigned.

Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...

the NCCAA has 2 divisions, Trinity Bible College is listed in Division 11

i do not believe NCCAA sponsors football...but some of its members play football... and it does sponsor the Victory bowl , which is tomorrow night at the Metrodome in St. Paul, Minnesota, between   Malone University (NAIA) vs. Northwestern College (NCAA D-3)

i gather that some D-3 schools compete in both D-3 and NCCAA (as NCCAA appears to b 'looser')

Trinity Bible was a UMAC member for 5 years.  The NCCAA has plenty of good d-3 and naia teams on its roster as well as a few not so good teams such as Trinity.  I believe Trinity is the only NCCAA football school not affiliated with the NCAA or NAIA.  It's very cool that they're able to field a football team year after year.  They're a bit more competitive in basketball and other sports.

AO: Good luck to your NW Eagles in the Victory Bowl.
