No D3 angle to this and not sure if it even made the news in the US, but interesting to see St Louis pay a seven figure transfer fee for a young Australian.  I haven't seen Girdwood-Reich play and hope he does well, but I find it hard to believe that St Louis really needed to spend cash when there is such a bountiful supply of young domestic talent available.

That is really interesting! He must be really good. Not to many MLS teams out there paying transfer fees for players other much older teams. Hey maybe a stepping stone to playing somewhere in Europe!
