Hopkins92

Sitting here with my 2 college age kids home for the first time in over 6 months.

Just want to say thanks to this board for an amazing year. I know we're not done, but I'm very thankful for this community and the wonderful insight and coverage that we've seen over the last year.

SimpleCoach, PaulNewman, kuiper, Flying Weasel, paclassic, Another Mom, Enmorecat... jknezik (i wish your name made more sense to me :))  so many of the SLU community, F&M fam, Nescac Nation, G. Sager, etc. so many more...

I had a lot of fun this year. And you all were a huge part of that. I think communities sometimes aren't acknowledged... This is a community. I hope we keep building.

Happy Thanksgiving week to all. I appreciate that this board has gotten new life over the last 2 years. It was a lonely place not that many years ago outside the NESCAC thread....

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! @hopkins92, you're a gem and a large reason why this board has thrived! Enjoy the time with your kids!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

(And if you're going to sit in the stands at Stagg Field tomorrow and watch the Chicago sectionals, I have one word for you: Layers.)

Special Thanksgiving wishes to those of you braving the elements to watch the games tomorrow.  I may venture outside to watch the livestream of a few of the games, but it will be a high of 72 degrees here.  :P

Happy Turkey day.
Memories of 99 keep flashing in my head.

The SLU boys shared a thanks giving meal with the other Final4 teams on Thanks Giving Day : Alma/Wheaton/Richard Stocton.
Turkey, stuffing, conversations with the other players. To this day the most memorable thanks giving ever.
Similar to these boards.
We all share a passion for our own teams but a great respect for other quality programs/posters.
Good luck to all the boys experiencing what none of us ever have. That extra love and passion of playing games during the World Cup.

Your post reminds me off when my school played in the NCCAA tournament in Longview Texas over Thanksgiving.  We also have great memories of that meal.  Good luck to all the teams.

Happy Thanksgiving all.  Tough day to be a deutschfan.  Let Germany's first game performance be a reminder to our final four that you can't take any team for granted.  France and Spain look very scary.

Ok.  So, today, Thanksgiving Day is the one year anniversary of All Things Division III Soccer on YouTube.  I didn't know how to thank all of you folks who are the mainstays of this board ... you know who you are ... who have been instrumental in how things have gone with the channel.  From ideas, to how to improve delivery, to the kind words...

So I tried to capture it in a Thanksgiving Day episode of Around D3.  Stick around for the ending where I express my gratitude to you all.

Around D3 - Happy Thanksgiving

And I hope you and yours have a wonderful and blessed day with friends and family.
