With the 11 team PAC going to a 10 game conference only schedule in 2023 all 10 of their opponents will obviously be exactly the same. Just as obvious, all of their opponents opponents will also be exactly the same.

The questions for those that understand this SOS stuff more than I are the following.

1) Will all 11 PAC teams end the 2023 season with the exact same strength of schedule and will that figure be exactly 500 for all 11 of them???

2) Should that actually be the case, should that raise some red flags about the emphasis placed on SOS relating to who gets in to the NCAA tournament to begin with (or even who gets an ECAC bid for that matter), who gets seeded where, who plays home or who travels???

May need the likes of Pat and/or Frank to figure out and answer this one!!!

Speaking as a D2 number-cruncher who has to deal with this every year... yes, it will be .500 for all of them.

(Unless there's a home/away multiplier like in basketball... D2 doesn't have that in any sport so it's not something I ever have to deal with and I don't know exactly what the effect would be in this situation.)

We don't have a multiplier in football, thankfully.
