Pretty awesome weekend of basketball in the SCIAC with nothing but nail-biting last-second finishes. Man it sure would be great if you could actually watch the game streams instead of them being buried behind a pay-wall so a couple schools can gouge their players' parents for a few bucks in subscription fees. Would have been great for the conference if people could actually watch the games.

Anywho, CMS somehow escapes at Redlands and Cal Lu to steal a bid. All three should be tourney teams. Fantastic season by Whittier too.

I was actually following the women's teams all season.  So that made it better for the cost.  But the feeds were better than last year.

Glad you got to see them. Sounded like a bunch of barn burners! I'm interested to see if any of the SCIAC teams can make any noise this year. I saw Claremont a couple times live and I thought they were pretty good.

I can't argue about the feed quality since I watched tons of games over the last few years and 0 this year, but I will take your word for it haha

You all may want to pay attention to my tourney preview when it comes out (I think later today).

Deafening silence on the NESCAC board right now, well done Redlands!  One of the best comebacks I've seen in the NCAAT.

A lot of bitter fans on that board in response to the loss. Redlands outplayed Tufts in the second half and made the plays when they mattered. The pressure basketball Redlands utilizes is tough on any opponent.

UR/Tufts was a fun game to watch, UR played really hard in the second half. They were in much better shape than Tufts. UR kept grinding, got some threes to go down and it opened up everything & and could press the in bound pass. Number 2 for Tufts was a stud.

Nice article about Redlands' first trip to the tournament since 2013 and first ever win in the tournament since it moved to D3 in 1985.  Also talks generally about the challenges of being a Region X team and having to fly east in the tournament.

Perhaps you already know, but I didn't see it mentioned here. We wrote a feature on Redlands last week, touching on some similar topics.

This story was supposed to include C-M-S as well, but our writer never got the call back that he was supposed to get, so they are mentioned but not quoted.

Redlands with another win to advance to the final 8. Dream season under Coach Bridgeland.

And the announcers were a rough listen. It's Redlands not "The Red-LANDS"
