C'mon guys - I don't really expect a winning record against NAIA D1, but we ought to have a winning record against NAIA D2!

Only 3 seasons ago NAIA II had a winning record vs D3, its usually pretty close.

Oh Mr. Y, head down to Adrian and take in a game with Sienna Heights against Cornerstone, Aquinas or Davenport and you will learn quickly.  Spring Arbor's not to far from you, take in an MCC team or two like Bethel.

NAIA II in the Midwest is pretty good.

Hey may mean we should not lose to NAIA-2 out of respect for the D-3 ethos. Or something. Or other.

I know in Indiana NAIA - 2 is pretty decent. The Mid-Central Conference has some traditionally tough teams.

MIT plays at Harvard December 28.  This could be a tough one, though, Harvard is out to one of their best starts in recent years at 5-1, with their first win over Boston University in 34 years this past Sunday.

Although, Harvard's one loss is to Army (believe it or not, the Black Knights are 4-1). In that game, Harvard gave up 16 and 12 points each to a pair of guards (6' 1" and 6' 4" respectively).

Maybe Jimmy Burke can continue his hot hand and lead MIT to a cross-town upset.

MIT has some big bodies this year (4 guys 6'8" - 6'10"), so it is not out of the realm of possibility that they wont get killed by Harvards bigs (which would allow MITs shooters to maybe make some shots and keep them in the game), but I am not going to get too excited yet.  Maybe if MIT starts playing better and is undefeated at that point, I may think they have a shot (especially if Harvard has a couple guys injured).  Harvard actually has quite a few freshman playing also, so you never know what can happen in any given game.

Don't even have to go to Adrian - CUAA is NAIA, five miles from home.

You guys are being too literal.  When I was a Titan, IWU was a member of both, but did post-season in NAIA (there weren't separate divisions then, and our opponents included WSUC [now WIAC] and EMU, among many others).  The quality of NAIA D2 is irrelevant - I'm a D3 fan, therefore they should beat NAIA D2! ;D

Quit trying to confuse me with facts! :D  (But, more years than not, D3 does beat NAIA D2 - that is a 'fact' I can live with!)

If you go there you'll only see one good team  ;)

Believe it or not, CUAA is 4-3 this year. :o  That is usually about a decade's worth of wins! ;)

While not a powerhouse by any means CUAA is actually 60-73 from 05-06 to present.  That includes a 10-3 record vs. DIII and a 7-2 vs. MIAA.  Of course none of those games involved Hope or Calvin.

It's all just a part of the grand conspiracy to keep Chuck from attending any more college basketball games. ;)
