Thanks for filling in for Rhodes this past season, Hopefan!

To all who enjoy monitoring this page....   I took this over last year at the request of Rhodes Scholar, who had been doing it for years...  I had intended to run a data base of all scores on a daily basis and coming up with non D3 competition was an easy part of it....   However, I will not be running the data base this year, so will not be able to supply the necessary info for this page.   Several months ago I tried to contact Rhodes Scholar and he did not respond... now I notice he has not posted since March...     My suggestion is that one of our other data gurus consider picking this up...  it needs to be done with a data base... there are enough games out there that doing it 'manually' would surely become overwhelming and inaccurate over time.....
While I will not be doing a data base this year (you might call it pressure from the home front), I enjoy it enough that I'm thinking I will be back to it in 2011-12.  Thanks to whomever volunteers for 2010-11.... ;)

Hopefan: I just saw your post and sent you a personal message. I check the site just about every day, but since I haven't logged in since March, I didn't get your message. Sorry to hear you won't be able to keep the totals this year. And I won't be able to either.

Let me echo Hopefan. I hope someone comes forward and takes over the reigns this year.

Doesn't look like anyone will be doing the totals this year. I'll log on from time to time and post some results when I can and will be more than willing to help locate scores if someone wants to do the totals.

I would note that these would all be considered exhibition games and would not count in w-l records..... ;)

Where does this win rank in the DIII vs DI's?

I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in Leviticus as a sign of the end of times.  But I could be wrong...

In 2010 Massey Ratings.

Air Force #311 at a 0.954 Index  (#247 of 347 in NCAA D-I)
Colorado College #1365 at a -0.445 Index  (#235 of 412 in NCAA D-III)

That is very impressive and improbable.

Air Force isn't the tournament team they've been in recent years, but they're a strong program.  I wouldn't be surprised if a top 10 d3 team won, but CC makes a real statement.

Air Force's big homecourt advantages are the altitude and the close quarters in the gym (its super tiny with stands right on top of the players).  CC isn't bothered by either of those factors (plus pre-Christmas crowds are often sparse at Clune).

Good win for the program.

Is there anyway that we can "divvy-up" the workload by regions and submit the results to a co-ordinator to compile the results for us?

Once we get into conference play, the out-of-division results slow down.
