Obviously, you mean St. John's (NY) not St. John's (MN).   ;) Otherwise, that's a heck of a roadie for a weekday exhibition game!
...and St. Mary's (MD) not St. Mary's (CA)!

Not to be confused with conference rivals St. John's (MN) and St. Mary's (MN).

... which might be still too far to travel for a midweek scrimmage. :)

The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

In the Palm Beach Post today they wrote about the Florida / Catholic game with the angle that Billy Donovan's son plays for Catholic.

Have not seen this anywhere officially, but Point Special reports a couple of Twitter feeds saying Carthage downed d1 NIU, 74-70 in OT.

Also, don't recall seing it here but Randy Mac lost to American U by only 1 point a couple of days ago.  (OOPS, reported just a couple of posts above. :-[)

They are both, of course, scrimmages, but still quite impressive.

They are exhibitions, though. A little better than scrimmages for legitimacy.

True.  I still have troubles remembering the difference between scrimmages and exhibitions. :P

Scrimaages are glorified practices.  Exhibitions are 'real' games (they just don't count).  Someday I will get that straight! :P

Don't worry, there's plenty of confusion (for some) later too... we're still in the preseason...

D-1 programs do tend to have multiple cows if they can't beat a D-3 team, though.
