Bridgewater (Va.) loses to D1 High Point 95-52 Saturday night.

Howard Payne falls to D1 Sam Houston State 76-42 Saturday night.

Pomona-Pitzer stays close but falls to D1 Pepperdine 59-50 Saturday night.

David Collinge

Wright State (D1 I suppose) 80, Kenyon 56
An exhibition for Kenyon; I neither know nor care if it counted for Wright St.

Oh, David...it matters to us Horizon League junkies.  ;D

David Collinge

Akron (D1) 95, Hiram 65
Exhibition for the Pups; any MAC junkies out there?

As I posted in the NCAC board (and here a few days ago), it's part of the 2K Sports Classic, so Akron gets to count it as part of an exempt tourney. Right now there are a lot of 'exempt' tourneys which are just twisting rules all sorts of sideways in D-1.

(And yes, I'm for the MAC too!)

D1 Stony Brook crushes Mount Ida 93-39 this afternoon. Smeds can't be for America East as well, can he? That's my conference as University of Vermont is just a ferry ride away.

D1 Louisiana Tech defeats Mississippi College 92-70 on Sunday afternoon.

Oh, I'm for about every non-power mid-major that had a team that captured my imagination, like Vermont a few years back! (That and I used to do power rankings for every D-1 hoops team (and D-3 hoops team) when I had time. Just sick of seeing 19-14 7th place teams make the NCAA tourney (or at least they used to). Thankfully that doesn't happen in D-3!

Yeah, I'm with you on those thoughts. Siena and UVM are my 2 favorites.

If it was played today, it probably counted for Wright state (D-1).  D-1 teams started their season on Friday, so any game between that date (the 11th) and the rest of the season, 99.9% sure it counts for the D-1 school.
