You can add Penn College to those scores. It's a two-year school that is part of the Penn State University system. The graduates' diplomas read "Penn State University" on them. I only know that because my brother goes there.

King's 79  Penn College 63

It was already there Gordon, in the 11/15 scores.... ;)

As a 2-year college, do games against it count?  We will need to check the Handbook when it comes out.

Penn College confuses me too... They have also been referred to as Penn Tech in the past... My impression was that they had some 4 year programs because they play, and have played, a number of D3 schools, but I may be wrong....  If anyone finds that these games don't count for the D3 team, let me know and I'll delete from our records.....

The King's web site says: "Penn College of Technology".

A. The team is all freshmen and sophomores.
B. They have an archery team! That team (co-ed) had seniors and juniors.
C. They are members of the USCAA.

I think they count because of B and C.

A couple of D-III vs. D-II matches in Superior, Wis. this weekend. Tonight is Edgewood vs. Lake Superior State. Tomorrow, LSSU plays either UW-Superior or Finlandia.

I know, I was referring to Greg's post on the woes of Penn State athletics.

Penn College and Penn College of Technology are the same place. It's a technical college in Williamsport. I think the traditional academic program is two years but some people -- including my brother -- go there longer depending on their course of study.

I was in his dorm room one day and saw the media guide for the basketball team. They play in the same conference (PSUAC) as the other branch campuses that aren't Division III. So they are part of USCAA.

Go there longer?

My niece attended Texas Tech.  They have a 7- or 8-yr course of study for the baccalureate degree that is fairly common. ;)

The entire PSUAC offers four-year eligibility. Penn College's basketball team may all be freshmen and sophomore currently, but they do offer four-year eligibility.
