You may need to back out Neb Wesleyan from those games. It is not fair to D-3 to have that single school, which has only played 5 D-III schools (going 4-1 in the process).  They are 2-5 against non-D3 foes.  There are half of the losses in the negative margin, right there.

I totally agree.  (If this were 1997 Neb Wes, I might beg to differ! ;D)

A school playing vastly more NAIA opponents than d3 opponents is not a viable rep for d3.

May I suggest that d3 teams to be counted in this compilation must play 50+% of their games against d3 opponents?

Mass-Dartmouth plays 2 NAIA schools this week: Northwood Tuesday and Warner Wednesday.  Hopefully they can improve that record by 2.

Sorry guys, if they're D3 on this site, they're D3 in my numbers....

Goodness, next thing you know, you'll be demanding UMPI be removed too!!!!! :o :o :o

Oswego State with a valiant effort almost pulls off the upset of D-I Texas-Pan American. as they lose 59-54. Key moment was a charging foul called on Laker's Chris Gilkes on a made basket that was waved off with 3:44 to go. Lakers were down 2 at the time 55-53 and his bucket would have tied the game and a free throw would have given the Lakers the lead. It was a very questionable call to say the least. Changed the complexion of the game for sure. Laker's Haydan Ward led all scorers with 18 points, 16 of them coming in the 2nd half. Oswego was down by 10 at the break 33-23 but opened the 2nd period with a 10-2 run to get back into the game. Nearly the entire 2nd half was a 1 or 2 possession game. At the 10:00 minute mark the Broncos opened up the largest lead of the 2nd half at 47-40 but the Lakers didn't fold and came right back to tie it up at 51 with 5 minutes to play. Twice in the  final 1:46 Oswego had a chance to take the lead as they were down 55-54. The last time came with 41 seconds to play as they missed a three point attempt. Lakers fouled and after the Broncos hit both free throws to make it a 3 point game Oswego came down with a chance to tie and 38 seconds on the clock. Laker guard was called for a traveling violation and that led to another foul and the final points of the game. The boys from Oswego didn't win but they hung with the Broncos the whole game. This Bronco team, by the way, nearly upset St. John's two weeks ago in NYC. They gave the Big East team all it could handle losing in the final seconds 66-61. The game was 62-61 with 36 seconds to go. So yeah they aren't a great D-1 team but they could probably do alright against a number of mid-majors.

Which category will the January 23rd Webster vs Lindenwood game fall into?

More importantly, does Free Will Baptist use the Rush song "Free Will" as its school song. And if so, can anyone hit the high notes?
