Bethel MIAC was able to knock off Concordia St. Paul (NCAA DII) of the NSIC by double digits. Bethel is a very good team who is currently receiving votes for the top 25, look for them to possibly dethrone a Tommie team who has had an average start in defending their National Championship.

Maybe St E realized they could pick up another game somewhere if it was a cancellation rather than a forfeit?

Or maybe their sense of sportsmanship kicked in - better late than never.  I've very rarely seen anyone claim a forfeit if the opposing team has any semi-reasonable excuse whatsoever for not playing.
