Here's a correction:  it's "Rhodes Scholar."  ;)

Finally decided that scholarships are inconsistent with D3 sports, Rhodes?  :D

Looking forward to another season of your outstanding efforts, RS!

Actually, I assumed rhodes' own modesty prompted the name change. ;)

Thanks for the job that you do!

Rhodes, the Wisconsin-Whitewater/Robert Morris - Springfield result on Saturday was initially inverted on the Scoreboard page. UWW actually defeated RMCS, 68-51.

Ralph: I'm not sure what role--if any--modesty played in the name change.   ;)

Greg: Thanks for the correction.

Wilbur mentioned earlier that Fisk had beaten Knoxville... he has Knoxville as NAIA, but it is one of the schools that I list as "other" because I could not find them on any organization's list  -  I just double checked the NAIA site and they are not NAIA.  Rhodes, do you have any idea if the belong to any organization???

hopefan: The Knoxville College website provides no information on affiliation. In addition Knoxville is not listed on the NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA or USCAA websites. My copy of the 2003-2004 addition of the Blue Book of College Athletics does list them as having NAIA 2 affiliation for men's basketball, but that is probably a mistake (one of dozens to be found in that volume, I might add). As noted, the NAIA website does not list them as members and that's good enough for me.
