Concordia-Selma vs Concordia-Austin

I see CURF is back to their usual contribution - making bad teams look good!

CUAA (that's Concordia University-Ann Arbor, the official name of Concrdia (MI)), is actually 11-11 on this year after the win, but last year's 10-19 record was their best in many years (I could not find past records on their website).  But I am almost certain that both the men's and women's teams pretty regularly had 1 or 2 win seasons.  They have been SO bad for SO long that the Ann Arbor News no longer covers them except in the agate print!  (The 'story' on the CUAA-CURF game covered less than one column inch!)

Chuck, the Michigander version of Concordia World beat Albion back in November, so I doubt that CUAA is the toxic waste spill that they may have been in the past.

Greg,

I missed that one (maybe the AA News didn't cover it!) - apparently they ARE on the upswing.  In the recent past, they have been pathetic.

But things DO go in cycles (except maybe the SLIAC ;)) - afterall, in (what to me, at least) is the recent past, NPU was great!  (Sorry, couldn't resist!)  NPU WILL have their day again - no guarantee of a whole string of national titles, but....

Massey has Knoxville College as NAIA - 2. Wolfe has them as an 'independent', like East-West or Union of Nebraska.
