Picking up a woman from Trinity Christian is so easy, even a caveman could do it.  ;D

Yep.

Trinity Christian has lots of pretty coeds and alumnae. It's loads of fun to tease them by calling them "trolls" -- nothing enhances mild flirtation better than when a woman's alma mater has a mortifyingly unflattering nickname. ;)

Perhaps if you called them something less "mortifying," the "mild flirtation" would become something more serious.  ;)

It's called "teasing", Warren. Even I, a bachelor who is probably exceeded in his understanding of the female mind by 95% of the single men in America, know that teasing is a terrifically successful form of flirtation if done properly. ;)

"Teasing is a terrifically successful form of flirtation if done properly"? Oh my! Greg, I wish you'd have told me that about 45 years ago ....  :o

(BTW now I'm teasing you;))

Gregory Sager

Yes, I know, and so are those two other Hall of Famer guys.

There's a reason why I made comments about the comeliness of TCC women on a board that scrolls very quickly. ;)

Point:

For a rejoinder, that's pretty weak, worn, and overdone. Surely you can do better. :P

My apologies... I've been out of the loop for about a week (actually, I was in the Loop, staying in the Palmer House in Chicago!), I'm a little rusty...   :-\   :)

How about this?

You're going to have to work harder than THAT to gain favor with Sager!

Work harder than what? I'm light-years older than Greg and have absolutely no need to "gain favor" with him -- or anyone else -- nor he with me.  We've grown up, you see. :)

The irony, lost long ago, by now, is that Sager said that teasing is "a terrifically seccessful form of flirtation if done properly," to which you responded by teasing him, implying, perhaps, that you were flirting with him.

It was a joke, see?

See, I saw the whole thing as a joke, as did Greg. In order to avoid any confusion among those who read these posts, perhaps I should have footnoted my response to him. Kindly forgive me.  :-[

Kindly forgive me.

And me as well!

Getting back on subject...  with this weekend's D-3 over D-1 win, has the D-3 winning percentage versus the "big boys" improved in recent years, gotten worse, or stayed about the same?  The wins over D-1 squads are always high profile here, but there are relatively few D-1 vs D-3 games (or at least games such as these that are "winable") and the percentage has been so low that the individual games may just be those few one-out-of-100 games where the ball bounces just right for the D-3 team.

Any thoughts?
