My guess is that Cincinnati-Clermont is a young team that is now beginning to gel in midseason. Both their recent results and their roster (no seniors, only one junior) would seem to bear that out.

The Cougars were in the USCAA national championship game last season, and are 10-0 in their league this season, for whatever that's worth.

I should point out that Clermont's league is the Ohio Regional Campus Conference (ORCC), whose perhaps most (in)famous member is OSU-Marion.  Clermont and Marion square off twice in February.

Correction: Penn State-Fayette, Penn State-DuBois and Penn State-New Kensington were all incorrectly classified as "other." They are, in fact, members of the USCAA. I have changed their classification on the scoreboard and updated the totals accordingly.

The games in question:

11/25  Carnegie Mellon 125, Penn State-Fayette (USCAA) 51
1/6  Penn State-DuBois (USCAA) 62, Juniata 61
1/11  Waynesburg 78, Penn State-New Kensington (USCAA) 75

It's actually a Christian Reformed Church school, like Calvin, and like Calvin it's as Dutch-American as a school can possibly be. The school is named after the Canons of Dordt, one of the more important theological documents of the Reformed tradition.

I am sure that I have seen the Swedish Chef use a Dutch Oven. :)

Maybe I missed something, but what does the failed Supreme Court appointee have to do with this?

St. Joseph's, Brooklyn (USCAA) 74, Thomas 56

After reading this I checked this schools schedule out and see some interesting things which make me wonder why some schools do not compete in the NCAA officially...if anyone can offer insight im open to it...here are the things im talking about:

St Joseph's Brooklyn:

Lost to Hunter by 4, if i remember correctly someone on posting up said they had Hunter on the ropes until late in the game, and St Joseph's controlled the game most of the way.

Lost to Kings Point in a close one (someone reported on that in posting up as well)

Smashed USCAA Briarcliff, 2 wins on the season against them

Beat NAIA College of Saint Joseph Vermont.

Beat NCAA Thomas College and Pratt Institute.

On their schedule coming up are CUNY Brooklyn and CSI.

Their website DOES say they have been playing minus their starting center (who is only 6 foot 4) but like i said...any insight into this program? They have obviously peaked my interest this season.
