Nice effort by Baruch last night against Westmont. The Bearcats took the Warriors down to the wire before falling 57-55. No one gave Baruch much of a chance and they made a game of it. However, this year's Westmont team is probably not even a middle-of-the-pack GSAC team. It looks like the Warriors may very well be the ninth-best team in the conference.

While the Millikin/Concordia score made the 12/30 list, I didn't see this score from that same day (in the championship game of the Bluffton tournament; MU/Concordia was the consolation game):

Bluffton 69, Ohio Dominican (NAIA 2 [?]) 67

Rhodes are you a Baruch follower?  Looks like they played Edgewood tough the next night...tough weekend for them.

I'm not a Baruch fan, but I do see them play pretty often because I live fairly close to the school. Yes, it was a tough weekend for the Bearcats--losing two close games 3,000 miles from home.
