Hearing that there is a possibility that WLC could be facing Transylvania again in the NCAA's at Transylvania. I can see the logic there but I could see them being shipped to UWW or Carroll being a bit more likely. A glut of Midwest teams that can/most likely host is gonna cause some headaches to figure out who goes where in this region.

Probably they will avoid it though but as stated it's not outright prohibited to have non-conference rematches. Though they did give the Pioneers one of their toughest tests back in December. (Though the temptation is getting too much to take time off Friday and get to a NCAA game up here depending on who is hosting).

Congrats to Coach Klay Knueppel as he earns his 400th career victory as WLC knocks off #17 Transylvania 73-65 tonight.

Totally forgot how much of a gauntlet WLC's first five games are.

Lost to #23 Trine and #8 UW-Oshkosh

Won against #17 Transylvania

Facing #18 Wash U in the McWilliams Classic Championship tomorrow.

And next month they have Loras (RV) and #2 Wartburg.

To say they went 3-6 against that schedule is something to be expected but they did get a nice win over Transylvania and nearly stunned #2 Wartburg. Still turnovers and mediocre from the FT line ain't gonna cut it against good to great teams especially come Tournament time.

Still a young lineup over at WLC with a Stevens (soph) and Cole (Frosh) leading the way in scoring.
