Anyone see Aurora's Guise play yet? Even on a bad night I'm not sure there's a person in the league that can put the clamps on her. Keep an eye on this kid. Potential POY.

Maranatha over Edgewood    (Eagles have only 8 players available-if someone slows down Scheele, --interesting test for the Crusaders' new players.)
Marian over Alverno (if the Inferno have some inside scoring punch to take pressure off Ambrial Miller,--)
WLC over Dominican (the Warriors have been getting balanced scoring in their wins--still will need to be on their game, after what the Stars almost did to Edgewood.)

     BTW, Marian blew out Silver Lake 82-19 in their previous game--Per NathCon site the Sabers were picked to finish 9th in conference--granted it's still early.

I don't think that either of those Marian games say much about that squad. Alverno is a bottom 2/3 team in the league and Silver Lake has really dropped off over the years. If you want an wasy win- schedule them because they are always looking for games. He also has an incredibly large turnover in players. If he can keep the kids on his team through Christmas they may have a shot to finish higher.....I'll be keeping my eye on them!

12/05 game projections:

Concordia, WI over Alverno  (Falcons simply appear to have too many weapons--on paper.)

Concordia-Chicago over Lakeland (Too close to call, the Cougars are at home.)

Edgewood over Marian (The Sabers keep it close until midway thru 2nd half, but if Edgewood stays out of foul trouble, the Eagles should prevail.)

Aurora over WLC.  (Aurora hungry for a win after losing to Lakeland).

To stay consistent, in non-conference:  Benedictine over Elmhurst. (If I eat crow, I eat crow).

Final just in:  Aurora 75, WLC 67.    (Per the little this poster took in of WLC's post-game account, Guise was held 6 points below her average, (due to foul trouble) but the Spartans got off to a fast start and the Warriors made a couple of runs but couldn't get over the hump.
