Concordia-WI 72, Edgewood 66

Megan Scheele's college playing career ends at least two games too soon! :'( She put in 38 pts in last night's loss. Edgewood's had WLC's number the last 3 years or so. Would have been a lot of positive PR for the NAthCon had the WI Eagles stayed alive.

Heard WLC routed Aurora. The question now is--can the Warriors pull off the hat trick? They'll need to hit their 3s and slow down Mayyou.

Since I did it for Megan Scheele in my last post, I'll do it for all 4 of the WLC Senior hoops players, too.  :'( :'( :'( :'(

They have CUW playing UW-Whitewater at Illinois Wesleyan.  IWU would play Ripon.  CUW gave Whitewater a very close game in the season opener this year.

I believe that will be fourth different Concordia that CUW has played this year:  Chicago, Ann Arbor, Nebraska and Moorhead.

CUW wins their first ever NCAA Tournament game 76-72 over Concordia Moorhead.  Also the first ever NCAA win for a NAC team.  Lakeland had a win in 2002 as a Lake Michigan Conference team.

No disgrace in CUW losing to UW-Stevens Point. The Pointers have had NAthCon's number over the years. Glad a NAthCon hoops squad got off the schneid in D3 tournament action! :) ;) :D

I've seen Scheele play several times against WHITEWATER and I have to say she's a pretty darn good player.   I don't mean any disrespect but while I believe none of her Edgewood teammates would play much on most WIAC teams she could play and star for any of them.   Her having been named to the All Region team for the third time is very impressive.   Congrats and best of luck to her.
