Aurora at Bluffton: Aurora may be better this year, but not enough to beat their HCAC opponent here. Same

Edgewood at Dubuque: Toss up. Depth issues plagued the Eagles last year and should bounce back this year. I went with Dubuque at home because of the depth reason

Benedictine vs Chicago (at Ripon): Chicago lost a lot of production but they should be able to take care of Benedictine.Same, although I think BU will be much improved

Lakeland at St. Norbert: Should be an interesting matchup to say the least. This is the most intrigueing matchup of the day, SNC is not what they were the last few years, LC is breaking in a lot of freshman, I give SNC the advantage at home

Hamline at Wisconsin Lutheran: I will be at the game (both games actually today). I think WLC can duplicate last seasons results again this year despite losing Johnson, Newberger, and Kuehl (UW-O).Same, although I beleive WLC will not be quit as good as last season but still good

MSOE at North Park: MSOE is taking a step back this year after losing Cayo to graduation.Same, times two on Cayo

Concordia Chicago vs Luther: Toss up....I'm going with CUC on the road to start the season, Rickett and Genke to much to stop for Luther.

Technically, Edgewood-Dubuque is neutral site. Those games this weekend are all at Loras College.

Thanks Bill, I noticed that, I'll still take Dubuque in this one. Since it could basically be considered a home game (no out of town travel required)

Bluffton 54, Aurora 46  Final

Bluffton outrebounded the Spartans and had 29 FTA's to Aurora's 11/

NACfan215

Halftime, SNC 30 LC 26, LC led most the half, SNC finished the half on a 7-0 run.

#1010
Wisconsin Lutheran 58 Hamline 53

WLC overcame cold shooting and sloppy ball handling for most of the game to rally in the second half against a scrappy Hamline team.

WLC will face off against #4 Depauw who ripped UW-Stout 88-48 in the early game.

SNC 58 LC 42, horrible 2nd half by LC.  Another tough game tomorrow against UW RF.

NACfan215

Only game I was off on tonight was CUC getting blown out by Luther 82-40, I can say I didnt see that coming.  Everything else on the night was about what I expected.  I wasnt completely sure on the Edgewood game, but I also didnt expect them to be beat as badly as they were.  BU seems to have given Chicago a good challenge.  Hopefully the NAC can pick up a couple more wins in tomorrows games.

Benedictine vs Ripon: BU did well in their loss to Chicago...I think they have the edge here.
Aurora vs Pitt-Greenburg: Uh...Toss Up?
Lakeland vs UW-River Falls: River Falls looks to have the better edge here.
MSOE at Elmhurst: MSOE gets run out of the gym by a second straight CCIW team.
North Park at Dominican: If Elmhurst did what they did to MSOE in game one...It could be a long one for the Stars.
Marian at Maranatha: Why not?
Concordia Chicago at Cornell: Toss Up
Concordia Wisconsin at Beloit: CUW isn't Rockford...
Coe at Rockford: Still not convinced that the Regents can improve much from last year.
Edgewood at Loras: Toss up part duece
Stephens at Alverno: Don't know much about Stephens and I'll go with the Inferno here

Wisconsin Lutheran vs DePauw: Not sure if Stout is way down this year but Depauw looked like they were having practice on the court being up by 60 at one point in the second half. They don't have much size to them, but they have speed and a swarming D. They move the ball very well on the offensive end. WLC needs to shoot the ball better and limit their turnovers while figuring a way to slow down Depauw's offense if they want to notch the biggest win in program history.

Benedictine vs Ripon: BU did well in their loss to Chicago...I think they have the edge here.I think BU played well against Chicago but I believe they drop a close one here
Aurora vs Pitt-Greenburg: Uh...Toss Up?Agree, cant go with Aurora until they show improvement
Lakeland vs UW-River Falls: River Falls looks to have the better edge here.Agree, probably an advantage in overall athleticism
MSOE at Elmhurst: MSOE gets run out of the gym by a second straight CCIW team.Agree, this will get ugly real early
North Park at Dominican: If Elmhurst did what they did to MSOE in game one...It could be a long one for the Stars.Agree, see MSOE/Elmhurst
Marian at Maranatha: Why not?Agree, Why? Maranatha experience/Marian lack of size
Concordia Chicago at Cornell: Toss UpAgree, if CUC plays like they did today it wont be close
Concordia Wisconsin at Beloit: CUW isn't Rockford...Beloit, im going with the slight upset here, Beloit will expose the lack of size for CUW inside
Coe at Rockford: Still not convinced that the Regents can improve much from last year.Agree
Edgewood at Loras: Toss up part dueceAgree, see CUC/Cornell
Stephens at Alverno: Don't know much about Stephens and I'll go with the Inferno hereAgree, only for the fact they are at home

Wisconsin Lutheran vs DePauw: Not sure if Stout is way down this year but Depauw looked like they were having practice on the court being up by 60 at one point in the second half. They don't have much size to them, but they have speed and a swarming D. They move the ball very well on the offensive end. WLC needs to shoot the ball better and limit their turnovers while figuring a way to slow down Depauw's offense if they want to notch the biggest win in program history.Agree, although I dont think this will be close at all

Halftime River Falls 36 Lakeland 18

NACfan215

Final River Falls 71 Lakeland 49, Muskies played much tougher in the 2nd half.

WLCALUM83

Halftime:  Maranatha 27, Marian 20

WLCALUM83

Final:  Maranatha 56, Marian 51

Marian cut the lead to 1 on a couple of occasions, but then the Crusaders would get an inside basket or FT's for breathing room. Crusaders got a boatload of points off turnovers, Marian's 3 pt shooters were heavily defended toward the end of the game and the Sabers didn't capitalize.

Captain_Joe08

Depauw leads Wisconsin Lutheran 23-22 at half.
