Final:  WLC 78, Benedictine 53.

Expected this to be a much closer game.

Warriors shot 54% from the floor.

Concur on that statement. Warriors dominated throughout. That loss to Edgewood made me a take a step back on that matter. Hell of a season for Coach K and the Warriors.

What happened to Coach Hengesbach at Benedictine? No press release of her leaving, only 2 years in. Anyone know?

Had the honor watching former standout Kristin Schulz and longtime WLC WBB head coach Wayne Smith get inducted into the WLC Athletics Hall of Fame last night.

WLCALUM83

#1775
St. Norbert 63, Lakeland 43 Final (Green Knights get their in-NACC tenure off to a positive start by limiting Lakeland to one-and-done possessions for a good chunk of the 2nd half while slowly pulling away to get this win at home.

MSOE 66, Alverno 41 Final (MSOE connected on 8 3 pointers and forced 28 Inferno turnovers)

#22 WLC 61, CUW 52 Final (After trailing early, Warriors outscored Falcons 37-21 in 2nd half to get a key win on the road)

CUC 74, Edgewood 73 Final (Cougars' Steinkamp produced their final points, and Edgewood could only get a lay-up at the end and fell short).

Rockford 62, Marian 56 Final (Regents outscored Marian 40-28 in 2nd half, Terhune and Davis put in 42 points combined on the night for them)

Aurora is winning big on IL Tech

Ditto for Benedictine over Dominican

Rockford 58, Edgewood 47 (Regents got 17 pts off 24 Edgewood TO's and 36 pts in the paint) Regents off to a positive in-conference start)

Central-IA 69, CUC 61 (Central-IA outshot CUC from the field 47% to 32%)

Schedules throughout Division III have become a moving target. We are all used to seeing some postponements or cancelations this time of year thanks to Mother Nature, but these mass changes are giving some PTSD to the 2020-21 "season."

Monday night on Hoopsville, we chat with teams who are still playing for now. Plus those who may deserve a little more attention thanks to tremendous starts to their seasons. And hear from those who are steadily flying slightly under the radar.

We also take a look at all the postponements and cancelations and discuss what may or may not happen as we move forward with the season.

Plus, we react to the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 polls released on Monday.

You can watch the show LIVE (or on demand) here: https://www.d3hoops.com/hoopsville/archives/2021-22/jan10

We are also simulcasting on our Facebook Live page (www.facebook.com/Hoopsville) AND tonight on our YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/Hoopsville)

Thanks for the positive PR last night.

Warrior forward Sam Leisemann and guard Ally Gough did not play against Rockford last Saturday.
It wouldn't surprise me if St. Norbert's Jessica Boerner has a field day scoring in today's match-up.
