After defeating Albany College of Pharmacy (far from being any competition) Keuka is a strong 4-0.  Lincoln, Edwards, Whyte, and Davis have been caring the team-nobody else seems to be playing any minutes.  In a sub par league they should be enough to challenge for the conference title

I was at the 107-62 win last night by Keuka and I must say that's the most athletic Keuka team I've seen in quite awhile.  There's a lot of youth on that team as well, which bodes well for the future.  And there was little offensive dropoff as the bench entered the game -  the defensive pressure may have even picked up a notch.  Granted, it was a big win against a weak opponent.  A nice confidence booster for the younger guys on the team though.

Could have been much worse.  Starters for VJC barely played the second half.  All 12 players played at least 8 minutes.

Does anyone know what the record is for most players from one team scoring in a game?  All 17 players that dressed for Keuka Monday night scored.  I'm assuming there has to be somone who's had more at some point in time.  Maybe a Grinnell-type school?

Game was tied at 53 with 5 minutes to play.  Anthony Fitzgerald shoots 9/12, scoring 20 points and pulling down 9 rebounds.  Shane Sowden led CUA with 18 points and 9 rebounds.

Keuka dropped its first game of the season, and now have a tough weekend game vs. Chestnut Hill.  My guess is that if they can get some home cooking (which they never do), and then stay within 20 points of Cornell, they can potentially get a 6 or 7 seed going into the Chase.  A tournament that George Wunder currently holds a record of dismay (having never won a game in the Chase).  Another prediction.  If Wunder can finally get a win in the Chase he will get another job offer at the end of the season

So Pat, is this VJC joining the new conference a done deal?

Pat Coleman

Villa Julie isn't joining the new conference, it's joining the CAC. And yes, we posted on the site last night, it's a done deal.
