Should be a great game!!    I would guess if they both win out in the conference touny they will do it again.

Does Farmingdale have a shot at an at large bid?

MSMC Lady Knights aren't ready to give up their conference dominance just yet,
beating the previously undefeated Farmingdale club 68-43. MSMC handled farmingdale's trapping defense much better this time. Then put their defense to work and shut down rams.

have not seen seedings yet

3. In the event that there is a tie for any place in the top six, the following tie-breaker procedure
shall be used in the order listed:
a) Head-to-head competition. If more than two teams are tied, cumulative record
against other teams involved in the tie.
b) Record vs. other teams in the conference in descending order, beginning at the top.
c) Athletic Directors Executive Committee decision based upon NCAA regional ranking
primary criteria and then secondary criteria.

interesting skyline weekly report has the mens teams ranked 1-6 for their toury.
BUT
On the womens side it is only showing seeding for 3-6

Looks like 1 & 2 is still up for grabs!

It appears the Athletic Directors Executive Committee awarded Farmingdale the number one seed :'( even though the dominate team in the league was Mount St Mary. their closest game  being a 18 point win except for the mid season loss to Farmingdale. That loss was advenged again with a dominate 25 point win last saturday. Farmingdale had a handfull of games they could have loss, down by 25 to Mt St. Vincent? It doesnt matter The better team won last Saturday and the better TEAM will win this Saturday. sorry little bit of a vent!

skyline playoffs delayed again! semis hopefully Saturday at 1 and finals hopefully Sunday

Hope they get these games in. If not, would be a shame MSMC ladies wouldn't have a chance to defend their title. I guess Farmingdale would get AQ?

I would hope MSMC did enough to get a pool C bid, but I would rather see them play for it.

1. SOS  No.  54 Mount St. Mary  20-4  .833  .563  .499  .542
2. Close game with No 8 WPU 49-43

mount st mary women are going to show how mentally tough they are.
The perfect storm has left Newburgh with over 2 feet of snow and without power for the last 24 hours, no news on when to exspect it back on. So now both semi-final  games will be played tomorrow at Farmingdale. The final will be played at 11 am on Sunday in Farmingdale.

Congrats!! Skyline gets two in the big dance. Good luck to both!!

Randy Ognibene received the good news during lunch hour on Monday that his Mount Saint Mary women's basketball team has a second life in the NCAA Division III tournament, but he was still steamed over a historic loss.
