Who names their kid December? Honestly, I could understand January, there's an understated artistry to it, but December or September even? Very strange.

Speaking as a husband and father, if more children (especially female) were named after the month they were born in it would save many headaches later in their lives. It makes it easier to remember their birthdays, you just have to remember a number between 1 and 31 instead of a month and a number.

Shoot just name them the number too while you're at it, then you just have to remember the year (or not).

This is my daughter, December Thirty-First Two Thousand Four Jones, she just turned one, about two months ago.
