Welcome to the big leagues, 'rookie'! :D

I've seen your posts today on Top 25 and CCIW Chat (it's still the Chat to me!).  Exactly why the Posters' Poll doesn't begin until January, when there IS a resume for THIS season!  (That is NOT meant as a shot at the only real poll we've got.  I love that Pat has the guts to go from day 1 [and even before with the preseason poll], despite inevitable 'egg-on-the-face' results like #22 UChicago's 0-12 start last year.  I'm sure it is also smart marketing.)

Any chance you will rejoin our merry band of fans this season? :)

Anything's possible, though my current standing in the National Pick-em should cast extreme skepticism on my "take" on the best teams in the country!

I hardly think you are disqualified from picking the 'best' teams in the country because you can't pick Mt. Ida over Mass-Boston or Adrian over Bluffton!  Now EMU over VaWes might be a problem, if anyone except 'old-weird-Greg' had picked EMU (hell, I taught my whole career at the 'other' EMU, and I picked VaWes! :P).  National Pickems is hardly a requirement for Posters' Poll! ;D

You need a better excuse than that to not rejoin the party! :D

Way to go, Ralph!

I've still got a long way to go before posting a milestone here.  I figure once you hit 5 digits you oughta only post every 5,000! ;)

[Now that it is basketball season, I figure at least March! ;D]

Here it is ... five digits!

What do I win? A case of Turtle Wax, or Rice-a-Roni ... the San Francisco treat?

I'm not sure Pat ever condescends to visit this board, but from Ralph and me you get "What took you so long, rookie"! ;D

As anyone who has ever looked at the CCIW in-game updates board will attest, I've done yeoman work this season to pull myself up over the bar, Chuck. ;)

True.  And appreciated.

I've (at a much more sporadic rate) tried to pick up the slack now that you are a {shudder} broadcaster! ;)

Sure I do -- it's not the Belt board, after all. :)

Ooh, wait 'til Just Bill gets wind of that post! ;D

[And, for the record, it's BeltTM, thank you very much! ;)]
