Congrads to you Ralph, and thanks for your insight on multiple topics  on this board. You come across levelheaded and unbiased (although you have your favorites). I hope you continue your postings after MC goes D2.

Plus K to you!

McMurry men's track could leave D3 in a blaze of glory. Right now they are ranked #1. Should be a great national meet!!

Hijack warning - I'm actually posting about basketball attendance.

The NCAA has released the attendance numbers for the 2011-2012 season.  Here is the info about DIII (link to the full release below).  Taking a quick look at the numbers, Hope would have ranked 2nd amond DII schools in attendance, and 153rd (out of 338) in DI.

In Division III, Hope ran away with its 10th straight attendance title by averaging 3,259 per game, which was more than double the runner-up. The rest of the top five were Wooster (1,607), Wisconsin-Stevens Point (1,474), Calvin (1,397), and Franklin & Marshall (1,311). Hope's total attendance of 52,151 was the second highest in Division III history. The record of 52,719 was set by Hope in 2006.

Mr. Ypsi

I wish I knew why IWU's attendance has fallen so drastically - they used to always be 2400+ and in the top three.  After the fabulous 2006 team (predicted by most to win the title, though they 'only' got third place), they did 'stink' for a few years, but they were back to the Final Four this past year (though for most of the year that looked highly unlikely).  I guess the 'magic' has fallen off.

But back to the REAL purpose of this board - I am rapidly approaching the 'true' attendance record!  I should hit 300 days online before the final in Appleton (d3 World Series) - something not even Ralph or the guru himself can come close to claiming!  (Those of you who are not retired should NOT attempt to match this record! ;D)

So, this is what I can look forward to in the distant future? However if Gov. Quinn has his way, my retirement will be increased by 12 more years ;D ;D ;D

geesh, and I thought my 48 days was 'embarrassing'.. Ypsi, I am truly impressed, stunned, in awe... whatever... a standing ovation to you!!!!!!
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Mr. Ypsi

OOPS - not gonna even come close to 300 by the WS final:

a. IWU didn't make it there (and neither did NPU).
b. I'll be in Peoria (IL) this weekend moving my 94-year-old mom to assisted living.  (NOT a nursing home, she wants to stress, but while a fully independent apartment, they do check in at least 3 times a day, and have contacts (by extra payment) for anything up to full nursing home care.)

300 WILL occur before the Fourth of July! ;D

Mr. Ypsi

Well, scratch that, too!  Summer is SO dead on the boards.  But I'm zeroing in - 299 days, 12+ hours, and counting! ;D

You know... those stats reveal the fact you guys haven't cleared out your cookies, temp files, etc. which is actually a bad sign: slower computers, risk you have malware, virus, or something, etc. Just saying :)...

Don't think that matters, actually. Even if they cleared their D3boards.com cookie, they'd get it re-set when they log back in.

Well, I passed 300 days early this morning.  Next goal: 365 days, 5 hours, 58 minutes (as close to a solar year as the d3 timer will record)!  (But don't look for it for quite some time!)

That's either really impressive or scary - or maybe both :)
