Not to get off topic  ;) , but it looks like the Hope Women's attendance benefited even more then the Men this year.  They improved from 525/game last year to 1329. I think that should put them at the top of D3, though I couldn't find the 04-05 Womens attendance stats.
I did take a look at the 04_05 Men's stats and found that the Hope Women would have placed 9th on that list, just ahead of the Capital Men. That goes nicely with there victory over the Capital Women last weekend. ;)

I'm not so sure I'd attribute it to the men's team.  The Hope women had a very good season in their own right and probably would not appreciate that comment.  I'm guessing the large jump in attendance may have had something to do with the shiny new cage.

I didn't say they benefited from the Men's team.  I was trying to imply that they benefited from the new arena more then the Men's team in terms of both raw numbers and percentage increase. Sorry I wasn't more clear.

Well, I didn't think you would be so crass.  I'm glad to know that I am partially illiterate rather than you being sexist.

Although, I'm guessing it might be more due to the contents than the pretty box, but you never know.

No Problem.
I still think it's awsome that Hope Women would be top ten in attendance among the D3 Men.

Well, I guess #4000 goes here.

Oh to be 25 again?  Oh to be 35 again.

I first read these boards when they were run by the Centennial Conference.

Errrrrrrrrrr.

The Centennial Conference never had boards on this site. In fact, we didn't have boards on the site until October 1998, almost a year after we took the site over. :)

Love this board. Missed a month and it's a fun one to catch up on.

I have taught students named January, April, May, June, September, and December.  Can anyone fill in the rest of the calendar?

In grade school, an October the year behind me. Referred to as Toby.

Well I guess that means we aren't going to get in trouble for being off topic!  :D

Congrats Hoops Fan... it's funny, cause I remember a time when you were at least a 1000 posts behind you.  :P ;)

That really doesn't sound too wierd to me.  Odd.

Yeah, I'm not sure where these posts are all coming from.  I mean, I've never really had much of a life; I guess this is just proof.

I meant CAC not CC, or was it Goucher that ran it on their own, but I thought the conference ran it.

I remember D3basketball.com or something like that, it wasn't hoops.

The Hope women won the national title this afternoon.  To do it they had to beat the #17, 10, 4, 3, 2, & #1 team.  They were very, very good.  That is a large reason why they drew so well.  Yes, the new gym didn't hurt.
