I have occasionally had posts deleted, but I can't imagine what ran afoul recently.

Oh, well - back to 4,000 (unless something else disappears)!

[Maybe now that he has all that time on his hands, Pat is toying with my mind!] ;D

This brings up a question out of curiosity.  Would deleting boards where you've received good or bad karma, erase that karma?

I deleted some entire boards recently, like the Witt sectional board and the Great Lakes NCAA score update board.

As I mainly post on the fb boards, you and/or others may have already mentioned this, and if so, my apologies.  With regard to the subject of Hope's DIII leading attendance status, you might remind us that Hope and Calvin still hold the DIII bb all-time single game attendance at just under 12,000 for that game at VanAd'l in Grand Rapids I believe.  That is as much as many DI games including U of M and MSU, albeit only one game!

We love our new arena, but I'm not sure why they don't play at least one H-C game a year at V-A (and alternate the other reg season game each year at each other's home area to make it fair).

Pretty simple reason formerd3db...........neither wants to give up the home court advantage.  It was a nice one time deal but there's little incentive for Calvin to give up that home court advantage they can enjoy at Calvin.

You only need to look up Hope's all-time record there to understand why they wouldn't.

With DeVos now, there's no way Hope's giving up that home game either.

I think we all thought we'd get a chance to have another Hope/Calvin game at VanAndel in the Select Bank Classic Tournament.......which after a half dozen tries with both teams present hasn't happened yet. :-\

Yeah, after posting that, on further thought, I figured that was the reason.  It is certainly legit.  I agree with you though; it was an awesome event and perhaps that is the way it should stay as a "one-time" great for the history books.

That explains it - I did have a couple of posts on the Witt sectional board.

Sure you did, uh huh.   ::)

I had 450 on that board. Not enough to get me to 4000, but certainly enough to get past you!  :P ;) :D

I had 9,000, which would have put me past Pat, but you know, its not about the numbers.

Not that it matters, but I figured maybe a few on this board might care:

JeffP and Warren are in a battle royale right now to see who will overtake Wally Wabash for 25th in posts.  I've been monitoring the situation for weeks.  It's like turtle racing, but the finish is now upon us.
