After missing the first seven games of the season, graduate student Toni Thompson made her season debut for the Beavers with nine points, five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in a 74-66 loss to Webster on December 19.
• Thompson was named to the D3hoops.com Preseason All-America fifth team after averaging 24.5 points, 11.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals while leading Occidental to its first conference title and NCAA Tournament appearance since 2011 last winter.
