Live video was pretty good. the Witt announcers did a fine job and were not very biased at all.

Geezer Citizen

We just dodged a huge bullet, LG fans.

but, WABASH ALWAYS FIGHTS!

Congratulations to Witt on a great effort., They might have deserved to win, but the scoreboard does not say so. It says Wabash 13- Witt 10.

Now, the LG's get to face Wooster. That won't be easy.
When better women are made, Wabash men will make them.

I am in shock........   I kinda feel like the Red Sox game the other night.

Witt thought they had overtime.

Hudson finding Lemond deep .....was huge... right after he let go of the ball, my stream went down and I didn't know what happened.  The live stats told me that it was a catch.  Brutal moment.....

I need a drink.

Seriously, though. Great game by the Wabash D to keep it in striking distance.

Great special teams to block those two FGs by Witt.

Great game by Witt's D. 5 turnovers! The Defenses played great games today.

All in all, Wittenberg played well enough that they should have won. Wabash escaped today but that is not a mark against Witt. They played a great game. I expected nothing less than Witt's best shot.

I think it is a huge deal for Wabash going forward that they played their worst offensive game of the year and the defense kept them in it to be able to escape with a win. Let's hope they build on this and keep winning.

Yes, WOW...

First, congrats to Witt.  They played hard and well.

The adage that turnovers decide big games held true, but in this case certainly in an unexpected way.  While victories are always team efforts, the Hard Hat D and special teams carried the load.  Well done.

Now, we need another W against another W....

Great game by both defenses today.

Game decided by the FG units . . . historically not a recipe for success for Wabash . . . but not today, with Oehler connecting from 37 and Whitehead connecting from 41  :o

Should be another outstanding matchup of defenses next week . . . Woo will have a lot of Witt fans!

That killed my buzz.  ;)

Witt's D Played well all day and just as Wabash made a million mistakes, Witt did as well.   Not converting on 2 late field goals (one a chip shot) can be considered mistakes....

Witt got a lot of pressure on Hudson, which forced him into bad throws.  Hudson really hadn't had much pressure this year.  He will need to figure that out, Woo will bring a bunch of pressure as well.

It was an ugly game all the way around.

Unbelievable game.  Teamline was about 23 seconds ahead of Witt live feed.  phone goes out just as kicker lines up on the Witt live feed.  The Wabash team on sidelines broadcast the kick.

This is the type win which helps you in the next game and the next game and the next game.

Witt played a great game ... Wabash did as well.  The better D and the O which came alive, when - do to the gutsy Little Giant "never say die" play -  Mr. Mo was ever so slightly switching sidelines and the Witt team was having ever so slight tremers, won out.

Wooster, enjoy the 3 pics on Hudson ... you will not see that out of Hudson next week.  You will instead see Brock and #1, Chamble and Kody.  You will see #11 and Bubba and ALL the D guys.  You will experience the Wabash crowd and heart and come to understand the meaning of Wabash Always Fights ! (as indeed Witt does today).

So, good game Witt.  Now bring on the "Woo Hoo".  AND ... Trinity is beating DePauw ... a perfecta.
