:'(

Stop please, these officiating tales are depressing me. We have never had a bad call, I don't know how you could stand it.

I think you're misreading some of the conversation....I don't think anybody is blaming officials for anything other than making a few mistakes that you shouldn't see (losing track of the LOS for the purpose of penalty assessment mainly).  The officials certainly weren't the reason the LGs almost lost.  Wabash almost lost because Wabash didn't value possession of the football.  Game officials had nothing to do with that.

QuoteI thought the officiating was really really bad all day.

QuoteIt sounded like the officiating crew did not have their head in the game --

I am so sorry, I stand corrected, this above comments are clearly not complaining about the officials.  Sorry, my bad.

Complaining yes....using them as an excuse for poor play, no.  The difference is vast.

The fact of the matter, from my vantage point, was that the officiating was bad for both Wabash and Witt.    Thus, the complaint is simply:  The Officiating was bad at times on Saturday.(period)

Big game this week.   Pretty much the NCAC Title game.

Wabash - 4-0   (Wooster, Oberlin & at Hiram remaining)
Wooster - 3-0   ( at Wabash, Allegheny, at Oberlin & Witt remaining)
Witt -  3-1  ( Denison, at Allegheny, at Wooster remaining) (Lost to Wabash)

If Wooster beats Wabash and loses to Witt, my brain starts hurting trying to figure out what would happen then.  I am guessing that with 3 teams tied with one conference loss, Wooster would go, being that both Witt and Wabash have made the playoffs in the last two years.  (Witt in 06, Wabash in 07)

Bottom line:  Wabash and Woo control their own destiny.  This weekend is big.

No, you don't get it.

I thought he doesn't support Wabash anymore..... hmmmm.

Thus, he truly has zero reason to really follow this board. Of course this is still a free country and he can be on this board.  But you then have to look at why.  What situation would cause a person who no longer supports or cares to tune in.  1.  A  lot of time   2.  Not much else to do.

Strange...very strange.

I can understand not liking us. And by "us" I mean the Wabash posters on this board.

Scotty, you are certainly not the first one to complain about "us". Not even today, at that. But this is just uncalled for. Let it go.
