The duck wandered in one day.  It seemed hungry and one of the Brothers reasoning that ducks enjoying grain fed it beer.  The duck liked it.  Its favorite was Original Pabst Blue Ribbon.  Thereafter the duck took up residence.

When Wooster beats Wabash on Saturday.........are you guys still gonna be talking about how crappy Miller Lite is or are you going to be giving excuses on how bad the team played?

GO SCOTS! 2 more days ;D

YES!  Now that's the kind of smack we've been missing around here!

Bring it!

It was getting pretty boring the past few days........thought I'd stir things up a bit, haha. I don't know about you guys but here in Ohio this game is Woo's season, hopefully you guys are just over-looking the Scots (As you all talk about lights and how high you'll be ranked, blah, blah, blah.) You gotta beat Wooster first and trust me, they are and will be ready! ;D

Oh, I'm sure the players are fully aware of what is at stake this weekend.  Think the seniors don't want to close out their careers with a fourth consecutive conference championship and a third trip to the playoffs?  My hunch is that they do and they all know that they're 60 minutes of good football away from making that happen.

Seriously, Obama is measuring curtains in the white house and wabash is already hosting their 2nd home playoff game !   It was getting boring.

;D

Just kidding!

I agree.  I don't think that any of the LG's are planning on mailing this one in.  I expect a solid 60 minutes on Saturday.  With rain on Friday and ending on Saturday morning, it ought to be  damp at Hollet on Saturday afternoon.  With a balanced run and pass attack, the key will be for the offense to adjust to the right mix.  The defense likes to get down and dirty and, with the cooler weather, I expect that the defense will ramp  it up.

Just noticed that Sheppard is not listed on Wooster's 2-deep this week.  The Scots really could have used his senior leadership on the road.

B n G - Were Wooster to win, my hunch is that we would be (A) congratulating Wooster on a great win, and (B) criticizing the officiating (heck, we would do that even if we won 49-0  ;D).  Miller Lite would still be crappy.
Long shall we sing thy praises, Old Wabash

I hope that forcast holds up.

A wet slippery field without the wind and rain at gametime will help Wabash I believe.

That is ideal for passing game because receivers know where they are going and can make the cuts needed on that kind of field.  Tough for db's to cover.

Plus we have a good enough running game this year that we can mix that in with the pass.

Overall Woster much more dependent on the run.  If can sit on that in that kind of field makes it easier to control.  Not that Wooster can't pass but nearly to the efficiency as Hudson with his recievers.

Swan is also out (Free Safety with 4 INT's) for Wooster.

Medicine Man,

I didn't miss Black n Gold's post on 10/21 at 11:10 A.M. - "One thing I worry about is the loss of Brian Swan at safety. We have some good backups but his presence on the field will be missed."

You see I did miss it.....I have other things in life than checking every post on this board.

But I guess I should have known you would never make a mistake -
