Wooster beats Oberlin 27-7.  Glad to see Greg Mangan and RV Carroll both come back from injury to play on Senior Day at Oberlin.

Whoopsie...Durbin gets picked off at the goal line in OT.  Allegheny will start from their 25 yard line needing just any way to score to win.

Allegheny gains 5 yards on three plays and will set up for a field goal.  Witt calls a timeout.  Predictably.  While we have a minute, this is a good time to mention that Denison beat Kenyon 21-7 today.

Here comes the kick.  It's up.  It's good.  Allegheny upsets Wittenberg 30-27 in OT.

Other scores of note....Centre is about to beat Trinity(TX) which eliminates Trinity from the playoffs, eliminates Millsaps' win over a regionally ranked opponent which could reshuffle the top of the South region rankings.

Also, UW-SP is tied with UW-EC.  A win by Eau Claire moves UW-W out of pool C and back into pool A which would open up another at-large spot.

Also, Hartwick lost so they are not a pool C contender any longer.

Remember all of that losing that I said needed to happen for Wooster or Witt (scratch Witt now) to have a shot?  Well, some of that losing is happening today.

How many turn overs did Witt end up with in their loss to Gheny? Just curious.

Final from Richmond.

OWU 7
Earlham 14

Yeeouch.

No boxscore is posted for Witt/Gheny yet, but it sounded like a lot of turnovers today for Witt, WAF78.  I'm guessing 4 or 5.

Centre beats Trinity (TX) and Huntingdon loses as well. Pool C stuff getting awfully interesting.
Congrats to Woo, Denison, Earlham, and Gheny on wins today

While not quite the greatest all-time feat that it was "way back when" i.e. the famous 1921 (or was it 1917? I forget without looking it up right now)Centre upset of Harvard, today's defeat of Trinity is an upset nonetheless.  Seems Centre still has that "knack" being an "upsetter" ;D  From the score, I'm assuming it was a close and good game to have seen.

I may have posted/spoken too early - I'm assuming the Centre/Trinity game is done with no change from the previously posted score?
