Woweee.....Woo came to play and absolutely dominated Witt in the mud bowl at Papp Stadium today!!! ;D The defense gave up nada....Witt's only points coming off an interception returned for 6. Woo's offense battled through miserable conditions...rain, sleet, snow, and dark of night type conditions to march down the field and score 27.

Could not have asked for more from Woo. All in all, a fantastic day to be a Scot :)

Congrats to all the players.......especially all the seniors who made this a day to remember ;) The monkeys were definitely stomping in Scot land today ;)

GO SCOTS!!!!!!!

Great win for the Scots. This is going to be a scary team next year.

Wow. Wooster seems to be playing great ball as of late. Looks like tomorrow's bracket will have room for an 8-2 squad; here's hoping the stars align. Personally, I'd love to see Holter go up against some of the other big teams around the country. May still be a long shot, but it's closer than it was yesterday and either way, a win against witt is a  solid wrap up for Woo on the season this year.

usee

I would have thought Wooster had a very good chance if wabash had won. Bash's loss weakens Woo but they should still merit some consideration with all the carnage today a 2 loss team has a chance

OWU football is in a state of disaster.  9-21 over 3 seasons according to my fuzzy math equals a .428 winning percentage.  Over .500 once in the last 6 seasons is unacceptable at a school like OWU.  It's obvious the staff is not getting the job done.  When you look at any other job outside of the football world, when you only complete 43% of the work and are succesful 43% of the time, you are usually asked to leave or are replaced.  Sorry coaches as i know some of you read this board but the results speak for themselves.  The administration and the coaches need to figure it out!!!!!

short

your math is real fuzzy! 9-21 is a .300 winning %.

Wabash's loss hurts Wooster's chances.  Cal Lu has two losses both to unbeaten teams.

Short,
I stand corrected.  Thanks for the clarification with my fuzzy math.  Too many cocktails tonight and the reality is worse than I thought!!!!

There's enough bloodshed in "C" that I couldn't guess who is in or out.

Today's results, all across the nation, show that in D-3, there's Death, Taxes and Mt. Union in the regular season. (Except for that one year...you remember that ONE year, right?)

Wally and others: Witt seems less like an anomaly now, no?

Witt was an anomaly before today.  You don't get to run for 30 yards and turn the ball over 5 times against a rival on the road and win.  But Wabash did in Springfield.  What happened today..frankly...was what should have happened in Springfeild this year.  You can't play crappy football against good teams and win.  Wabash got lucky one time, but not twice.

Wabash getting lucky at Witt was the same scenario for Franklin at Trine and it not only cost a win but a home game against a very beatable team.  Now FC is going on the road to Case (according to Pat Coleman and friends).  That game will be difficult.

oldtiger

Congrats to Wooster. Holter, Sheppard, the Scot's "D", et.al. were determined and refused to let the elements, or the tigers, derail their hopes of extending the season.

Some "agonizin' reappraisal" needed up on the hill in Springfield.

wabashcpa

Here's hoping that Brock Graham is OK - I would hate for his career to end due to a concussion, but if that's the case, he has certainly been SOME LITTLE GIANT.

As an aside, this kid is graduating in December, after FIVE SEMESTERS!  That is unbelievable.

I took eight semesters and damn near screwed it up. That's just insane.

I hope he's okay too. I'd hate that to be the last time he can step on the field.

For those of us without ESPNews, any help on whether Woo is in or out?
