USee, where do fans park for the games?  Doesn't look like there's a lot near the stadium.

Thanks!

usee

There is a 3 story parking garage at 55th and Ellis on the east side of the field complex (next to the fieldhouse). There is also ample street parking along the street that borders Washington park just west of the field (also a good spot for tailgating). other than that you have to roam the streets near the field and find a spot. its very close to the U of C hospital so can be tough but school hasnt' started yet so it should be easier.

My favorite part about U Chicago is trying to make heads or tails of the film they send.  When DPU used to go up there, there was no lift for the endzone, so the endzone film was shot from on top of the concession stand in the corner of the endzone.  About 15 feet in the air and from the back corner.  Good luck getting anything valuable out of that.

don't know if anybody else saw this but men's fitness has a cool article featuring coach gagliardi about motivation.  just thought it was cool to see d3 get some pub.

Plenty of ways to stay plugged in to the NCAC this weekend...

- Video available for Wooster/OWU
- Video available for Witt/WashU
- Video available for Oberlin/CWRU
- Audio available for Wabash/Chicago
- Audio available for Earlham/Anderson
- Live stats available for Kenyon/Hiram

And, of course, I'll be all over the twitter from Stagg Field tomorrow as well.  It's going to be a great day for the web warriors tomorrow afternoon.

I'm trying to get a 7 and a 4 year old to bed without any violence, bloodshed, or tears. Any advice?

That's what we do every night. 4 loves two books and a song or two. 7 doesn't want to go to the bed at the same time as his little sister so sometimes that's a battle, but now that school is back in session and it's getting darker earlier, he's a little more tired. We do not compromise on the light -- it does out when it's 4's bed time and while 7 would get to stay up later and read during the summer, not anymore since it's not possible.

In the summer 7 would come out and whine for a song of his own but we'd only do it about half the time, and if we did, it was me singing something short.

We close on a house next week and 7 is going to have his own room again. 4 is going to share a room with her sister, 11. That should be interesting. But 11 can stay up and do homework or read somewhere in the house while 4 goes to sleep. 4 sleeps pretty soundly.

Does OWU offer a free streaming video of their games, or this a "pay $15 for a one-day membership" service?

OWU's stream is free and on the couple of occasions that I've watched it, it has been pretty decent quality.  I'll actually go back and edit that previous post to include links to the video feeds.

The Bishop feed is good....the play by play & color can be weak at times....
Here are the facts:
Bishops are 2-10 the last 6 years in the first 2 games of the season.....
0-3 the last 3 years against College of Wooster
Total points in the OWU/COW series the last 3 years
COW 57 - OWU 11
Now would be a good time to see the "Big Play Potential" of the OWO "O"....
Bishops need a quality win to open the NCAC play.....
