As a Hiram Alum (Class of 97)...........GO TERRIERS!!! My god - why does Hiram continue to "play" football? I mean 49-0 in the 2nd quarter!!! Did they even show up? I guess I dont mind since that's how it was when I was a student - but then they send the alumni mailers asking for $$ to support Hiram athletics. Really? Why?

Looks like the punt return sparked the offense. Wabash started slow last year against the Gators as well with just two field goals in the first quarter. Keep 'em down D!

More of my coverage of the game and score today is less about Hiram.... I actually, as I know many on here, have been hoping that the Terriers will improve.....And they have. It is more about showcasing my feelings for the Witt Head coach and what a lot of us thought he would do in this game.

I don't know what it is with Wittenberg, but this is norm for Hiram against the Tigers. Unfortunately this week, Hiram is catching Witt the week after a sleepwalk, so they get to be the bounce back game. Hopefully the Terriers can put together a decent second half.

Watching the Minnesota - Wisconsin game. Something I thought would be of interest to you... Minnesota plays in 4 trophy games per year. That has to be the most in NCAA Fball

Yes they do. And they play in good trophy games, too. The ax is cool because, well, it's a freaking ax. And then of course the Little Brown Jug satisfies the "can you drink out of it" criteria for good rivalry trophies.
