(and now a quick comment on the NFL this year -  We had a preseason, a regular season and then another preseason and now we will have the playoffs......late season NFL is getting to be a joke..... thank goodness the playoffs start now.)

He died of complications arising out of hip surgery according to this home town newspaper.
Unbelievable.

Thoughts, prayers and condolences to the Linthicum family and the Wabash community.

Summit Surgical Center is equipped with an observation room. Family members are given the option of observing the procedure. Hopefully the Linthicums opted for the waiting room.

Truely is unbelievable ... and f'n sucks.

My sympathies and prayers go out to the young man's family, friends, and Wabash community.
It is tragic when when a life is taken so young and while in the care of medicine professionals.
May you find eternal peace. Amen.

What incomprehensibly sad news. From myself and Mrs. LG our thoughts and condolences go to his family, his friends and his teammates. May they find comfort in the happy memories of his life.

Very, very sad.   Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and everyone this fine young man touched in his life that was cut way too short.

Devastating, tragic complication which seems to happen when least expected.  Our prayers and sincerest condolences go out to Josh's friends, family, fellow players, and the Wabash community. May all find some peace and solace for shared time and space with an outstanding young man.

The Linthicums are in my thoughts and prayers as well as all who were associated with this young man.  It is indeed devastating when a life is taken at such a young age.

TooForRaider

Thoughts are with his family and all who knew him. Extremely unfortunate.

Sorry to hear about this young man's passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and his Wabash football family.

I must say, this was a shock and a concern for myself personally.  I read this post right before my own knee surgery yesterday morning.
