Thanks, Li'l Giant. Spread the word. :)

In terms of how the field feels, there's definitely a difference from one field to the next, at least if the brands are different, but there's also a difference between a brand new field and one where the rubber pellets have had time to settle from use.

Wooster also lost a receiver for the season with a knee injury from the Wabash game.

I remember seeing the Wooster player go down early.   I remember no one really touched him, he made a small cut and down he went.

Pat & Co.  -  The site look tremendous, great job.

I can't speak for Kody's injury, but Wes feels that the turf was not the cause of his. Could have happened just the same way on grass. As for the Wooster player, again not sure you can blame that on the turf either. He planted his feet to make a cut and was injured. These types of injuries were happening before turf was invented.
Just my 2 cents... 8-)

Find it interesting to note Jermar Rayford, the diminuitive scatback from Chaminade-Julliene and in late May, a pictured LG Class of 2014 signee, as one of OWU's starters on the 2 deep roster.  ;D

Must be that his charming smile (and seriously, it is) carried more appeal with the girls in Stuyvesant Hall (if still in existence - ah, memories of 1971  :)) than the gents in Martindale.  ;)

Cave2bens,

I noticed that too.  Apparently he changed his mind 2 weeks before camp.  Man, he is little -  hopefully CJ won't kill him today...haha  ;D

It sounds like it will be pretty hot today at Selby.  Wabash needs to get out fast - I look for a big day from Chase today.  I hope we can get Devin Kelley and Brady Young in to the offense today...

GO BASH!

wabco

I look for a break out year for Brady Young if we can get him the ball.  As Belton becomes more comfortable with his receivers and each's particular way of running their routes and the O line gells with him ... COME ON BRADY !!!

Should be interesting game - just told the "dragon lady" I'd be offering an excuse (sick dog, etc) to escape a damned dinner party to listen to the second half of the game.  Look forward to reading everyone's posts to catch up - no video, no twitter, no problem - just lots of Kalahari sand and a bellowing muezzin at the mosque up the street.

WAF!

SRO on the visitors side at Selby today.   :)

LGs lead 10-0 over OWU after the first quarter.  Vann Hunt has TD run for Wabash...Whitehead has a field goal.  Both scores set up from blocked punts.  Bishops are driving to start the second quarter.

OWU QB Espinosa is a big kid.  If they can keep him around for a few years, they may have something here.

OWU gets into the end zone for the first time this season. 10-7 Wabash lead.  12:10 left in the half.

How big was the roughing the passer penalty!!!  UGH!

wally_wabash

5 penalties for 60 yards already although I take issue with that last one on the punt.  Smashing a dude head-on and leading with the helmet are not always the same thing.  Whatever...INT for Wabash and they have the ball back.

I am not there but following the radio and the live stats, maybe the 2 ugliest quarters of Wabash football I can remember.  Man, I hope we can get things going in the 2nd half.   >:(

C'mon BASH!  The 2 picks sounded really bad and one was when Bash was on the OWU 5 yard line.  UGH

Is anybody else having trouble with the Wabash audio feed?
