On to Denison.  This game will tell us a lot.

NCAC4Life: I was at Selby last Saturday....It will be interesting what the crowds will be the rest of the season in Delaware....If anything the COW game will inflate the game average.....The Bishops have a good shot for the 1st win of 2010.....GO BISHOPS

That's what I'm saying; I think ONU wins this week and makes your little squabble irrelevant.

But you're wrong in thinking Witt wouldn't give Mount a game. It's practically the same team that stood toe to toe with UWW through three and a half quarters (with a backup QB, no less).

And of course I'm joking about Trine, though using scores to validate positioning in the polls would put them about a touchdown better than ONU.

I do Top 25 D3 rankings each week for my blog. It's for fun and I don't worry about consistency (being ranked a certain place one week does not weigh much as to where I put a team the next). It's got it's biases and one of them is how a team plays WIAC teams and especially UW-W.  I have Wittenberg ranked #6 and Ohio Northern #13.

The game at UWW last year weighs HEAVY in that equation. Witt played UWW better than any WIAC school did last year. I'm not one who believes that UW-W's big fourth quarter was inevitable. Witt could have won. They have my respect, that's for sure. Now if they lose to someone goofy, they will drop fast! :)

If anyone wants to check out this unknown and unrecognized, but my shot at rankings:

I'm headed to Oberlin today to see the Yeomen and Wittenberg. The last time I saw the Tigers play was at the Mud Bowl in Wooster a few years ago...I hope the rain hold off today.

Wabash visits Kenyon today for a non-conference contest.

Again, NCAC decision team, nice job.
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Mr. J (WallyFS4),

Thanks for posting those links on Dustin.  Thoughts and prayers from our family and glad to see they have a Caringbridge site posted.

BTW:  as many recall Wabash Hall of Famer WR Michael Funk '89 received his bone marrow transplant on February 26 - remarkably, he has done incredibly well and has been back to work as Anodyne Health's CEO since June.  During his hospital stay in MD Anderson (Houston, TX) a team autographed Wabash helmet was in his room - a gift from ER & Crew.

That is GREAT news...

That is great news, 16.  Thanks for the update on Mike.

Just about ready for some football...I'm expecting to see Wabash throw it more today which accomplishes two things.  It gets Chase some more game pass attempts which I think he needs and keeps him from running into piles of linebackers trying to rip his arms off.  Wouldn't mind seeing Belton with 25+ pass attempts today and less than 10 rushes.

Also looking for the defense to build on last week's clean performance and keep Kenyon off the board.  And who knows...maybe even a punt block today.  WAF!

No sound on the video stream, or is it just me?

Just you, I guess. I'm watching it.

You're not missing much though. Le sigh...

Wabash v Kenyon -

Note on website is that you had to open your browser twice to get Kenyon's audio and video. I turned on Brent Harris for the Wabash audio, but then the Kenyon video died.

I almost went to Kenyon. Given the abillity of the Kenyon techies to provide the video and/or audio, I'm glad I didn't.

Puke 1st quarter.  Horrible call on Horn's 4th and 5 catch...

Li'l Giant

I have Kenyon's video and Brent's audio and it matches up perfectly.

Apparently I should not be disappointed I missed the 1st quarter.
