I did see the Oberlin run that you mentioned.  Everybody gave up except the carrier...heads up play by him. 

I also just saw Steve Homyk get blown up going over the middle.  That was a huge shot...reminds of Stu Johnson erasing an Allegheny receiver back in the day.

As much as I enjoy listening to Dave and Don call Oberlin games, it's time to switch up to the Wabash feed.  Running commentary to follow in this post.  WAF!

Wabash punted on their first drive.  WUStl ran right down inside the 10 on their possession...then had a holding penalty, then had a FG attempt blocked.  Wabash's kick block teams continue to impress.  Wabash has the ball for the second time now.  

Not much to write about from the first quarter.  Each team had two possessions...Wabash punted twice, WashU missed a couple of field goals.  The Bears have had better field position...Wabash has the ball to start the 2nd quarter.  

Bears strike first on a 13-yard TD run.  7-0 WUStl in the 2nd quarter.

And that's another holding penalty on Wabash...this time negating a nice gain by Kraus.  Too many negative plays for the offense in the first half here.  

15 play drive ends with a TD pass reception for Yoder.  Wabash overcame another holding penalty in the red zone on that drive.  7-7 is the score here just before halftime.  

WUStl busts a screen for a long TD.  That one hurt.  14-7 Bears.

Short FG is good for Washington.  It's 17-7 with 5:45 left in the 3rd.  Wabash has been dictated to from the opening kick in this one.  Belton is out...not sure if he's dinged or if ER is looking for a spark.  

Yoder springs a screen for a 40-yard TD.  A quick score was necessary there.  17-14 with 3:09 left in the 3rd.  

Burke scores on a keeper for Wabash.  4:44 to play in the game.  The PAT was blocked there.  Wabash leads 20-17.  

The Bears have put it in the end zone on a fade pass from Sherman.  24-20 Bears...1:10 to play.
